Rumor has it the #magic are very involved in free agency and trade talks already.

Why quote a nobody... again?

Just tossing any news I find. Guy describes himself as a "Sportswriter for ThroneBuzz and ThroneMedia. Also covering sports on the Space coast for Space Coast Daily."

Really, I'm looking for any word that we're beginning trade talks. I've seen a lot about other teams, but nothing about us, besides the firings of course. Hard to get a sense of the direction Henny is going, especially when there's only one person in the front office. I don't expect to hear much.

OKC made it work with Russel Westbrook :dontknow:

all i'll say is an inefficient but effective sg + best big man > efficient sg and Daniel Orton at center.

I'm not a Monta Ellis fan at all, but if you can get him for JJ+19 on a one-year rental (considering he'll most likely opt out next summer) than you have jump all over it. I would suspect Milwaukee would want more considering they traded their best player (Bogut) for Monta less than 6 months ago.

If this were to happen, I would consider moving Jameer, as he and Monta would not complement each other at all.

Or we could just be drafting at #19.

Would'nt offer Roy any more then a 1 year deal - too risky knowing his past, but I guess the reward would be high if he came good.

We have some very, very ugly possessions as a team, Jameer has to be on form 100% of the time to make us look like a really dangerous team. I envision a Monta/Jameer rotation at PG as fulfilling that, it'd beat the efficiency of our offensive possessions when we pass around the arc looking for a semi-open 3 shot, and a point of attack from PG is increasingly effective imo. Doesn't mean that, now with Hennigan, we won't not draft great perimeter steals and FA pick ups around him, nor not look to sign/trade-for another perimeter all star like Chris Paul or Iguodala. I think if fans wonder if a Monta/Dwight can get a title or not, we know Hennigan will not settle and keep to real cap space strategies of opening up some amounts of spendable cap space in critical moments, drafting like the Spurs, and making savvy trades/pickups with said draft picks and young assets.
