Smart was outplayed by that other PG, Artis. I say lets draft Artis in the 2nd round and save our money.

this, I think I am back to the Noel wagon after watching Smart play last night. At least with Noel we will basically have 2 lotto picks coming after next season with Noel going to basically miss all season we still tank and can move BBD at the deadline to open minutes for the front court.

And to the above post, I'd love to take Favors from Utah. ****, I'd even give them AA and our first for Favors, their pick, and maybe Burks?

They won't do it for three reasons. One, every team overrates their young players. Two, Favors could possibly be the #1 pick this year. Three, Utah might not make the playoffs next year so their 2014 pick will be a lottery pick in a draft that is widely regarded as superior to this one.

After watching a lot of the draft prospects again tonight i am really hoping we draft Noel and have him sit out all next season. Going into 2012 with a top 5 pick, room for 2 max free agents and a lot of young talent + picks could end up so well. Next year we should tank with a lot of heart.

Nelson, one year contract or draft pick
AA, one year contract or draft pick
Harkless, T12
T12, Nicholson, Quinn
Vuc, Quinn

I'm still wondering if Utah can become a trade partner.

UTA: Orl 1st (Smart) + Afflalo + Harkless/Harris + TPE
ORL: Favors + Burks + Marv Williams

IMO, this deal would give us the best prospect, and a great compliment to Vuc. It would give us a nice young SG.

It would give Utah the PG they need/want to really begin a rebuilding process. It would give them a good value SG who could help stretch defenses for Jefferson. It would give them a great up and comer in Hark/Harris, so overall they'd have 2 prospects with good-great upside instead of just one.

The race to the bottom is nearly complete. Orlando is now tied with Charlotte in losses. This will be a close race.
