Man, that guy Oladipo had a whale of a game. Didn't realize how good he is. He really showed himself against the supposed best backcourt in the NBA, Looks good for you guys future. Your coach did a great job too.

Thought I'd leave this here a response to my post on the GS board. Especially the last part :)

I am only and 1ing the first part about Oladipo!

For the record, I am going to disagree with those who say we should have fouled Steph at the end. That would pretty much guarantee OT on the road against a better team in the first game of a back to back.

I would just as soon go with the 60% chance that he misses the three and we win. Granted, he was hot at the time, but it's not like he is running around with a giant fiery NBA Jam head and can't miss.

Just my two cents.

Agreed, and Steph is an All-Star. That's what All-Stars do they make big shots.

Chin up, guys. Those signature wins are coming.

After watching the full highlights for VO and looking for this "rudeness" I was thoroughly unimpressed. Seriously that is what we spent 5 pages arguing over? Going woo with a head shake while running back after hitting a huge shot? I would have been shocked if he had just walked away silently. It was an emotional moment, Vic is an emotional guy and he displayed some emotion. I guess Vic should be an emotionless zombie. Sorry bud, RealGM thinks you are rude.

VO wasn't remotely rude with that. He didn't even look in a Ws player direction.

Board is so soft..

Think Vic and Steph have had a thing going since he blocked his shot when playing with the Select Team. Isn't it great that Vic responded tonight and outscored him? Vic outscored him on a better shooting percentage, with nearly identical rebounds, assists, and turnovers. Vic had 3 steals to Curry's none. Unfortunately, Steph got what turned out to be the winning shot.

I want Victor playing with emotion. When he isn't fired up, he doesn't play as well. He's getting the bounce in his step back and he's ballin!

Once again, this happens at the 4:09 mark in the 4th quarter. AS SOON AS Victor drills the three you could hear him through the TV his first "WHOOO", right in front of Golden State bench. Then he does it again TWO more times, deliberately LOUDER on his way to the bench. Then he goes about chest bumping.

That to me, my friends, is a celebration worthy of a game winning shot, not a 9-point lead. Bad Karma soon to happen tenfold becuase....

Steph Curry, who Oladipo has been gaurding all game, hits the game winner and deliberately shouts "WHOOO" consecutive times while looking around and laughing. Its the most perfect revenge for Oladipo's excessive and disrespectful display.

Also, you can tell EVERYONE on the Golden State bench was mean muggin' him. Go back and watch the footage. They all remembered...and is why they were being disrespectful to us afterwards.

Again, not saying this is WHY we lost. But it certainly didnt help to act as cocky as Oladipo did with his early celebration.

Needless to say, easier said than done. He was having a phenomenal game.

You can't be serious? It was an emotional game! I'm glad OLADIPO has heart and gets pumped when making a big play. I can't believe this is even being discussed.

Do you see Fornier overcelebrating? Did Payton overcelebrate and go nuts? Or O'quinn? Harris?

They all had big shots. I guess none of ya'll have ever experienced disrespecting your opponents only to have it come back and bite ya in the ass. It was totally unnecessary for Oladipo to be like that against the HOTTEST team in the league. What the hell did he expect? It would only wake up a sleeping giant.

For the record, I love Oladipo's intensity and heart as well. But it was HORRIBLE timing to overcelebrate in that fashion with 4 minutes still left to go in the game on the ROAD

I'm rewatching the play over and over again...

Oladipo, during his first "WHOOOO", did it right in Steph Curry's ear. SMH

You play the game out with a situational plan regardless. There was no plan and that's why they lost.
Pilots have contingency plans. The military have situational drills and protocols. Companies have internal plans.
You have to have some kind of plan. It's not like the Warriors were that much better. The Magic dictated the defense and aggression the entire 2nd half. The warriors played like they were supposed to 4 and half minutes.

This is stupid.... Sorry but I can never agree with someone that wants his players to show less emotion. I dont care if the game wasnt over. He hit a big three to extend the lead to 9 and screamed from excitement. He didn't turn to the bench and say anthing to GS.

Playing with confidence and fire is one thing...

Playing unsportsmanlike is another. Oladipo was having a huge game, thus he was acting a fool. He'll learn eventually not to do that...and now Oquinn, Payton, and Harris are crying on the bus with embarassment. It hurts much worse when you initiate the smack talk and lose. Most of you guys just don't understand. Its no worries.
