yeah, and honestly, given some of the guys Otis has brought in, can you blame him?

imagine if last year we'd swapped VC + Anderson/Gortat for GWallace + SJax

Dwight/Gortat
Lewis/Bass
Wallace
SJax
Nelson

get some gritty defense and a legit scorer... but nah, we got Hedo and JRich. (for the record, i was quite filled with hope when Hedo first came back and played out of his mind good).

He didn't say that the were never cool.

As a matter of fact, he said that they used to be, but they aren't now. I don't believe him when he says he doesn't know why, he knows, he just doesn't want to say.

Also, what is Rudolph talking about with the "Male Groupie" comment?

Deron Williams was asked about the CP3 trade that was nixed, called it a messed up situation.

We never heard of this relationship before, we did however hear that he wanted to hit the big city to pursue other interests. We cannot fire OTIS/SVG and everyone else just for Dwight. Orlando would be a horrible orginization. Let me ask you how was Jordans relationship with Jerry, or Kobe's with Mitch. Was Dirk happy when Nash was sent away. GMs run the team, players focus on playing. Dwight is trying to save face, he does not want to be Lebron 2.0.
I'd normally agree, but Otis really sucks! We need ANY reason to get him fired. If this was any other competent GM, we'd all be telling Dwight to STFU and play.

Otis should be fired for his performance or lack therof.

Maybe, but now you have to stick with Otis. Good organizations dont let the players run them.

Jordan hated Krause

Kobe has fueded with the Lakers
Shaq has bashed Riley

Dwight is trying to ease the reaction of his exit. If Otis must leave, we have to resolve this situation first then make the move. You dont want to set the precedent of siding with the star and doing whatever they want.

Krause was a prick (and Jordan and Pippen still hate him to this day), but he delivered.

Riley delivered, and when things between him and Shaq came to a head, Shaq was traded (we don't want this scenario).

Kobe feuded with the Lakers, until they delivered. Big.

You can't get rid of Otis now. Too much movement going on and would put us behind the 8ball. Maybe Otis should make the moves Dwight wants regardless of how he feels about it and then step down from his position as GM. Management would have to give that the go ahead though. Or maybe Otis should just wise up a little and stop liking this team so much.

LOL, so now I'm a male groupie. I've been called worst by better. Dudes crying b/c 12 asks out, but I'm the groupie. Okay then.

Why did Rudolph say this? What does it mean?

Can someone fill me in, this one went over my head haha.

From what you guys are saying, it's time to kick Otis to the curb. The guy is seriously prideful and probably arrogant.

Otis needs to speak up, he's being far too quiet in all of this mess.

Someone compared Otis to Isaiah Thomas. I gotta say Thomas barely beats out Otis as the better GM.....both can hand out horrible contracts like champs, but at least Thomas could draft.

But honestly people are we really arguing wether or not Otis should keep his Job?!?!?!?!?! The dude deserved to be fired a couple years ago. What good move has he made as GM? He was gifted a team with capspace, D12, and Nelson. HE TRIED TO HIRE BILLY DONOVAN FOR F*** SAKE.....SVG WAS A PANIC SAVE FACE MOVE
