Last time we had one of these "fiery meetings" was after a loss in Denver last season. And it led to the PHX and WAS trades. Hoping for the same.

Because we don't lose a different way every time... we lose the exact same way every single time... Hedo usually sucks in losses, Ryno does too. Duhon should not be out there ever, but, he will unless we make a trade, because Stan's in love with him.... and, Stan usually sucks in losses too.

I know we WILL lose in the 1st or 2nd round of the playoffs, and, I don't want to be in mediocrity.... I'd rather be a lotto team than a in the middle of the pack kind of team.....

for me its all about the playoffs, not the regular season..im not sure this team is good enough for a deep run

Duhon must be gone by the deadline and I wouldn't be so worried come playoffs. Everyone else can stay.

Yeah, no, not what I meant.... I'd rather be the Cavs or Wolves who have a bright future than the Rockets or Nuggets who will be a consistent 1st or 2nd round knockout every time... like us.... unless we improve soon and get a big name that's sexy enough for Stan to play so we don't have to watch Hedo and Duhon consistently suck in every game that matters.... like Ellis...

magicman123 has the best idea. we need an offensive coordinator next to Stan, so, we can keep his amazing defensive schemes while getting rid of his horrendous offensive schemes... but, I don't think that would ever happen, so I would prefer we fire him....

Edit: Also, I actually really like the Bobcats, so, I wouldn't mind watching them. :)

hoping for the same would mean us trading jj + ish for vince carter or something similar.

Aside from catching fire against the Heat one game and beating a struggling Lakers team early on, we really haven't beat any contenders... we can't close out OT games, we've had some crushing losses, and we continue to get beat by the Hawks - the team that not only beat us in the playoffs last year, but one that could likely be our opponent again in the first round this season. There's cause for concern when we're playing ugly basketball and a bunch of our players are under-performing through half a season. It's nice we can stay afloat by winning overall, but this is not looking good heading into the playoffs. If you're a Magic fan and you're not upset after losses like tonight, something is wrong...

Of course I'm upset at tonight's loss. When you let Willie Green and Jannero Pargo combine for 29 points and your best player only takes 7 shots a game, theirs nothing to be happy about.

Is that why Stan started JRich immediately over Redick as soon as he got him even though Redick had years more practice time with SVG?

No Al Horford, No Jamal Crawford, No Joe Johnson & an injured Hinrich.... and we still lost!

I see your point, but are you trying to equate a D-League player with a "proven" starter in the league?

The Magic were obviously tired. You could see that in their game. There was no aggression. I think the emotional game against the Nets with all the Dwight drama finally caught up to them on a back to back with travel involved and little sleep time.

damn we are 0-4 against the hawks and celtics this year. We will prob. face one of them in the 1st round if we keep dwight. I hope we don't face the hawks they have huge matchup advantages against us at every position besides center and zaza and collins frustrate dwight.

Sure would suck to face them without Dwight.

I did, not by intention though. I just mean that Stan is capable of playing a better player over someone he trusts more. JRich may be more obvious because of his proven status, but nevertheless someone like Ish is quite clearly better than Duhon. And I believe playing the better player would be more along the lines of coaching to win games than playing someone who sucks but "trusts" more.

It also reminds me of the Foyle/Gortat situation. How long did he stick with Foyle before he gave Gortat the chance? A lot of us were calling for Gortat, and we got the same resistance....how can some raw 57th pick in the draft help us win games? Well......he ended up being much, much better than Foyle.

I agree with Guardian....Sometimes you have to put the superior talent out there on the floor....Ish is CLEARLY...and i mean CLEARLY better than Duhon.....Vision is better...Instincts are better....Better Athlete.....Better Pick and Roll game.....Plus he has one of the things that you would want on your team...SPEED....i mean it becomes obvious when he put up the stats he did in the minutes he had and looked better than Duhon's last 10 games....combined....I think it's all about trust with Stan....Ish may be the superior player but Stan and Duhon are practically married it seems.....

I think the reason Stan loves Duhon so much is that he is Safe....He makes Safe plays...Safe passes...Doesn't want to force anything...to a fault.....Just Safe and boring only to try to minimize mistakes just like Stan programmed him to....I swear man when Duhon checks into the game Stan whips out the dual shock controller and plays as Duhon...that's the only reason why he plays Duhon so much..it's all about control with stan....Duhon is a puppet with Stan's hands up his fartbox..

This loss sucked, but all road games in the NBA are tough. I am hoping that this rejuvinates Orlando to another strong winning streak.

I stopped being upset about losses when it finally hit me that it's a basketball game. I won't go back to that fanatical person where I would lose sleep over the fact that this team loss. After all that's going on in this world, losing or winning a basketball game doesn't phase me.
