Could also be the same thing that we're doing with Howard though, if they seem ready and willing to trade him, then we won't be willing to offer as much, if they continuously say no, then we have to make them bigger and better offers until we make them one they can't refuse. It's all politics.

whatever the warriors decide to do, they need to get rid of that ellis/curry back court
