Harkless was beasting last night! Ended up getting some free tickets and the kid almost made me spill my beer 3 times from getting so amped lol.

Moe is going to have a REALLY bright future....just glad it's going to be with the magic! lol

IMO, this deal would give us the best prospect, and a great compliment to Vuc. It would give us a nice young SG.

It would give Utah the PG they need/want to really begin a rebuilding process. It would give them a good value SG who could help stretch defenses for Jefferson. It would give them a great up and comer in Hark/Harris, so overall they'd have 2 prospects with good-great upside instead of just one.

I feel like this trade would make us too good next year. I know a lot of people wouldn't mind but if we go the favors route it will kill our odds at getting in the top 5 picks next year.

This is why I'm so FOR the Nerlens Noel pickup. He is super athletic and his knees don't have a ton of wear on them like a normal 250lb PF would. Plus all the advances in these surgeries....

If you tell me I get a healthy Noel AND either Parker, Wiggins, Harrisons, or Randle for the start of 2015, I am ALL over that idea lol

EDIT: That and Moe will be a STUD by 2015....

I am not a big fan of Favors. He is not on par with Vucci as far as potential. That trade would be horrible for the Magic. Not a big fan of Kanter either.

That's a no-no to me... Harkless or Harris? I pass.

Not a bad trade. I rather trade Harris instead of Harkless though, just because I think his defensive potential is going to be very important.

Favors has more potential than anyone we have, but the negative thing is that next year will be his contract year. That may be a problem if Hennigan decides to make a big splash in free agency.

Vucevic + Magic Pick + Nicholson + Afflalo
Favors + Kanter + Marvin Williams?

that's too much to give up, and i'm not sure Utah would see a Vuc/Jefferson tandem working. my trade is based around the idea that Utah are building around Jefferson (for now). their grand plan might see Favors eventually taking the reigns in a few seasons, but for now Jefferson seems to be their go to guy. giving them Smart, plus Afflalo, plus Harris/Harkless puts them in a position to start winning games now.

i'm not sold on Kanter, and would probably prefer O'Quinn over him. a Vuc/Favors front court works because Favors makes up for Vuc's defense, and offensively, Vuc can stretch a defense for Favors.

if Vuc is involved, then i probably don't include the pick... Vuc + AA + TPE for Favors + Marv. but, then, i doubt Utah would be interested since they're just swapping one big for a big that doesn't necessarily help them any more than Favors.

but that's just my opinion, obviously.

How is he not on par? He's younger and already a much better defensive player with so much athleticism. Also he scores more per36. Let's stop overrating our players.

I was on your side with the trades until this comment. What!!

You know what Utah will do when we come asking for Favors and Kanter? They will laugh. I'm calling it, quote me if you like -- both Favors and Kanter will be better than Vucevic. They will be better than any player we currently have. If Utah is smart, they will let both Millsap and Al Jeff go in the summer and play Favors and Kanter.

So you think Vucevic, our pick, and AA/AN is too much to give up for Favors/Kanter, but you think both Favors and Kanter will be better than any player we currently have? If you believe that the latter is true, why do you still believe the former?

I don't think that is too much to give up. I meant I was on his side with the trades prior to that post. Wasn't very clear on my post that's my bad.

NO way the Jazz give up both Kanters and Favors. Those guys are their future. I really don't even see them giving up one of them personally

They won't, at least not with what Magic can offer.

I don't know. If they like Mclemore or Smart, I could see them doing something to get Afflalo, Smart, and Harris for one of their young bigs(preferably Favors). They would definitely be in better shape to compete because quite frankly their guards/wings aren't very good right now. I like Hayward but other than him, but then again I've never been a big Mo Williams fan.

Smart
Afflalo
Hayward
Millsap
Jefferson

with Harris and Kanter still off the bench. Hell you could put Harris starting at SF and bring Hayward off the bench and I believe that's much better than

Mo
Foye
Hayward
Millsap
Jefferson

with Favors and Kanter and likely their #14 pick off the bench, IMO.

They are at the point where they need to start competing and to do that they need to upgrade 1-3 with one of their pieces at 4/5. That trade would give them depth and possibly upgrading all 3 of 1-3. I'm not saying they can't get better offers then what we propose for Favors, but I think that trade could benefit both teams.

I think Favors and Vucevic would be a very good combination down low. Of course this trade would have been much better before the deadline when we still had JJ to plug in at SG.

Afflalo and Magic 2013 1st for Favors should be enough. Absolutely no need to add Harris or Moe.

I wouldn't even shoot the Magic 1st rounder for Kanter straight up unless the Jazz take on Harrington or Hedo. I have serious doubts about Kanter.

I don't see them bringing back both of Al Jeff + Millsap.. May even let both walk

If I'm the Jazz, I let Millsap + Jeff walk and Draft McCollum/Burke

Burke/McCollum
Burks
Heyward
Favors
Kanter

If I'm a Jazz fan I would feel great about this team going forward. Great prospects, cap space, and they haven't even had a season to tank yet!

Some of you must be high, wanting to trade Harris or Harkless and a 1st + the TPE for Favors and a bunch of crap. You are overrating Utah's players.
