Did he see all the threads that were supporting him when he first made the trade request? I'm sure he heard all the cheers, and the "Stay Dwight" chants and such. No one is mad at him for wanting out.

But to consistently throw your teammates under the bus, and to talk about playing for other teams while you're still one of us is a slap in the face. Did you see that interview he gave with the Boston Herald?

Dwight already wants out. A couple pissed off posts won't change anything. And f*ck those Bulls fans, just because that's dirty.

No I didn't see the Boston Herald interview. And I'm not suggesting that he'll make a decision based on a couple posts on a message board, but the point is you all are Magic fans. If you all think it, then certainly there are other Magic fans outside of RGM that think it as well.

I just think you guys are going to wake up to Dwight being traded one day and feel pretty bad about all the threads, bashing, etc. that has taken place. This is Shaq 2.0.

His whole timeline is filled with messages to Dwight.

It would be funny if he was a kid (as I presumed), but according to him, he has been a Bulls fan since the early 80's. Which puts him at at least in his late20's-30's.

Kinda creepy, actually.

His RGM name is MnM24

Thank you, sir.

Can't wait till I see him....

As long as we got the right pieces in return. Don't trade just to trade. This is the best asset we have had since Shaq. Unfortunately that might have to wait until the deadline (I could care less about keeping him for the AllStar game, who really cares honestly)....but that's when NJ and LA will prob be getting into a battle for him. Increases our leverage a bit.

It's about NJ digging too deep a hole to make the playoffs once they get Dwight in March. And in turn Orlando spiraling downward and finding them selves in the lotto. Then you get Lopez, Brooks, NJs lotto pick, Orl's lotto pick, and Houston's mid 1st round pick.

Blue_and_Whte wrote:I've liked Brooks game ever since the trade rumors came up. It would be a completely different look from that position that we as Magic fans have never seen on our team. (Maybe Rony Seikaly) I think he gives us the the versatility we wish Dwight had, nice touch from 15-20 out but not reliant on that, he can take some guys off the dribble as well as post up. He doesnt demand alot of doubles, but he I think his game does enough to get Anderson open. Needs some good defense on the wings though.

I agree...See i want a youth movement and if we play our cards right we will be a young team with good young talent and if SVG is here a good coach that can squeeze the best out of our players....Give Dwight what he wants and trade with New Jersey...Get Lopez and Brooks+Picks and let them take Duhon....Then maybe we can flip Richardson and Nelson for younger talent or picks.....Potentially we could have quite a bit of picks in this deep draft if Otis plays his cards right if he's still here.....

Fast PG
Marshon Brooks
Defensive SF
Ryan Anderson
Brook Lopez

We get the right pieces that fit and that right there could be a TEAM where it's not about 1 player but more about the collective playing together...that's why i can appreciate a team like Denver they play together in the aftermath of Melo leaving and they're a damn good team....With SVG coaching they will be more disciplined defensively and he will have that Dynamic guard he wanted in Brooks....That is how i would like it...

The only hang up is that i'm hearing that Ownership wants to stay competitive...SMH...i hope that isn't double speak for Bring on Bynum and Gasol....Don't want any part of that....plus how does that keep us competitive? Keeps us mediocre...either you're a championship team or you're not why try to stay in-between? I guess i can understand if you want to give fans a reason to go to the games but our fanbase isn't that bad....The fans will still be here after Dwight is gone

That's a good reason not to fire Stan.

Otis is probably bluffing, huge trade gonna go down tomorrow and surprise us all. I like watching ESPN when the guys there say they have no idea what's going in Orlando and they hear no rumors from inside the FO about anything.

pretty hilarious to see bulls fans sucking his u know what already.

Wait til things get hard and he publicly rips the coach and the point guard
aol4532 on bill russell
I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

Why would he be bluffing?

Because Otis ALWAYS bluffs? I mean it has been reported that he is trying to swing some trades, but doesn't have much to work with. Almost everything he says is the opposite of what he ends up doing. Saying you are going to blow the team up doesn't exactly boost team morale either. That's the one thing Otis sorta knows how to do better than Dwight it seems.

He says a string of losses isn't a reason to make changes, but I'm pretty sure that's exactly what occurred last year on Dec 18....the team got blown up after a string of losses...

I'm not saying that he IS bluffing and moves will be made (I think his hands are tied with what we have, I think he has tried to make trades, but it takes two to tango). I am simply saying it is certainly within Otis' M.O. to bluff.

I like Lopez...He isn't a franchise but he is a piece you would want especially since the Center position is weak in this era....Wouldn't be too bad next to Ryan but i would rather a Defensive PF since Lopez probably wouldn't command double teams....A defensive Wing wouldn't be bad either....Lopez had a legit post game with a nice little jumper...his 20 PPG is not a fluke on the other hand maybe his rebounding isn't either but with a change of system maybe he can get that up....In my head i see....

Fast Point Guard
Marshon Brooks
Defensive SF
Ryan Anderson
Brook Lopez

SG/PF/C positions all have guys that are already pretty good with room to get better....We have to get a solid young PG and SF and i'll be content

The one issue I have with the NJ trade is that...isn't this basically getting a couple of pieces (Lopez + Brooks) from a team that WITH Deron (who is 10x better, at least in the short term than any PG we would get in the draft) AND Humphries (who is a rebounding machine) still couldn't do anything at all?? Are those draft picks really going to somehow be better than Deron and Humphries, enough to make us contenders??
