I think Harkless has to go to the 2 now with no AA or JV goes where most of us do not want him to go and starts E'Twaun Moore

As for the Jazz trade I was reading about, NO WAY!!!!

Giving up too much. Way too much.

As for drafting and watching some of the tournament I would like McLemore more than anyone else I have seen.

^ I agree start Moe at the 2 for a few games and see what happens, he is quick enough to guard most 2s

Jameer/Moore
Moe/Moore/DQJ
Tobes/Moe/DQJ
KOQ/AN
Vucci/KOQ

I would love to see what this lineup could do, I want moore and Nic coming off the bench,

For the remaining games, I think Vaughn will go with Udrih or Moore at SG... backup minutes going to whoever doesn't start and Jones.

I think he will start Moore and simply jack Udrih's minutes way up.

I think we already saw the lineup last night. Udrih/Nelson/Harkless/Harris/Vucevic (Oquinn until he returns). Throw some Moore and Lamb backup at the 1&2.

depends on how highly you value players available with our 1st. do you think Noel will be better than Favors? do you think Smart will be better?

if Smart can project to develop as a scorer like Rose, then of course you keep him. but if he projects to develop like Antonio Daniels, then you look to trade the pick. i'm obviously not the GM, and i'm not privy to his scouting, so i leave all that up to Hennigan. but it's not gonna stop me speculating.

Harris/Harkless are both great, but they're duplication at this point. Favors fills a need and he's got a great ceiling and is much further along in a developmental sense than any prospect available to us.

Alec Burks is a solid option who would be a lottery pick if he were in this draft. he's not "a bunch of crap". He'd be a great replacement to Afflalo, and I think we'd actually see a better performance from him because he's got the ability to get to the FT line much more frequently.

Marv Williams is just filler to make salaries balance.

I was on your side with the trades until this comment. What!!

You know what Utah will do when we come asking for Favors and Kanter? They will laugh. I'm calling it, quote me if you like -- both Favors and Kanter will be better than Vucevic. They will be better than any player we currently have. If Utah is smart, they will let both Millsap and Al Jeff go in the summer and play Favors and Kanter.

sure. i respect that Utah would value both of them, which is why i don't want to give up what they'd want for both of them. that's because i'm not sold on Kanters. doesn't mean he won't be good, but in order to pay the price they'll want for him, i'd want to be pretty convinced on the guy we're going for. but that's just me.

Zmill wrote:NO way the Jazz give up both Kanters and Favors. Those guys are their future. I really don't even see them giving up one of them personally

i think this summer is gonna dictate where Utah go. they've got duplication at the 4 and 5 spots. they're not gonna pay for both Jefferson and Millsap to return. at this point, i think they bring Jefferson back as their center-piece to build around. otherwise, if they were that keen on pushing Favors/Kanter to the front of the line then they would have dealt either Al or Millsap.

they want a PG, desperately. they want someone who's gonna start to unite all those talented front court pieces they've got. my guess is that Kanter is the odd man out (since they're likely to extend Jefferson), and that they look to trade him for a pick that can land Smart, Burke or another PG.

Dude I'm not so sure about Kanter being the odd man out.. He can't get on the floor but because of the other bigs on the team but his per 36 numbers at 20 years old are impressive:

16.7 pts 10.3 rebs 1 apg 1 bpg 1 spg on 54% FG shooting. I don't think hes the odd man out. In fact I would say he is a cornerstone of their franchise. Centers is a tough position to fill and since they just spent the #3 pick on him in 2011 I think they will be holding onto him for a while.

Well... most of you are going to be one of those gm that overvalues their young players and never end up anywhere. Like when Cleveland refused to send Hickson for Amare.

A top 5 pick in a very weak draft and Harris doesn't sound much to me when you get back one of the best young big in the league, in a position of need, playing post defense that we desperately need.

I mean you may be right, if the pick and Harris turn into stars and Favors doesn't. But I doubt either of what we give up will be better than Favors so that's why I think it'd be a good trade.

Seeing BBD get pumped every time Hark made a play really is refreshing to see. Def a great guy to have around the young guns.
