Now Kaman/Turk for Ellis is real bad for them, no wonder they turn that down.

He just said "Why would Golden State do that?!" about the deal. Chris Broussard talked about the discussed deal for Monta and that us and NO are trying to get GS to do the deal but they're hesitant.

To be fair, Broussard said the deal would give GSW Turk and Kamen... He never mentioned Redick or Anderson.

I wouldn't take that deal either.

You really think it's fair the Warriors lose their best player for Reddick, Anderson, and an expiring Kaman? Kaman is the only player out of the 3 that make this trade even worth talking about. But why wouldn't the Warriors just wait til the off-season and get Kaman in free agency without losing Monta? They would have to fight to retain his services anyway. Getting rid of Beidrins is not good enough reason to trade Monta as though we don't have the most cap space, great free agents aren't willing to sign here even if we did. Can't hate the Warriors for not wanting to give up their best player for a guarantee of Reddick and Anderson. Reality is Reddick and Anderson would be lucky to get you guys anything, and no near all star talent is coming to Orlando with that offer...

might not be the best trade for the warriors, i agree, but your organization wants a super star for ellis which isn't realistic either, his value is not what they think it is

The lucky part about that is Ellis still has 2 years left on his contract with a player option for the third year. They seriously do not need to trade him until the right trade is presented. No Orlando on the other hand is in the same bind Cleveland was in with Lebron, and Denver with Melo. I don't like how players of this caliber hold their team hostage, but Orlando has made it hard on themselves trying to keep Dwight. They have failed to get him some real star help much like Cleveland failed Lebron. In doing so, they have nothing to trade but Dwight himself if they at least want to secure some relevance in the near future. Or they will just let him go if they want to rebuild. The Warriors have been consistent all year in saying they do not want to trade Curry or Monta unless it's a deal that can possibly make the team better. Reddick and Anderson do not satisfy that requirement, IMO, and there is no rush for the Warriors to just give away any of there most regarded talent unless something real justifies it.

By the way, I'm against even trading Monta for Dwight as now both teams ensure they have just lost their best player going into next year...

If there are any trades, I predict a trade that catches everyone off guard and proves all these media whores that they don't know crap and just make stuff up to gain followers. This is the entertainment business. They make money off controversy.

I buy what Rudolph and YBR are saying. Rudolph has been confirmed by Broussard twice now. I still think the possibility of Monta in ORL exists until Thursday. Maybe not in that deal, but maybe another.

Kaman/JJ/Anderson is way too much for Ellis, but the deal Broussard mentioned was something like Turk/Kaman for Ellis. I wouldn't take that if I was GS either.

A free agent C they can go after in the summer, a PF similar to the PF we already have and a backup SG that is similar to the rookie we just drafted is good value?

Typically, yes that's a lot. But given that we have more to gain in acquiring Monta (possibility of Dwight re-signing) they know we're desperate and can demand whatever they want.

You fail to realize Kaman is an expiring. The Warriors are looking for a center. In what way does Anderson or JJ satisfy that need. Anderson would have trouble getting minutes on the Warriors because Lee is eating up almost 37mpg at PF, JJ would not replace Monta's production at SG either, and Kaman would be free to go in the off season. In essence, it's like trading Monta for JJ and the only positive that comes out of this is possibly shedding Biedrins contract. But the Warriors are notorious for over paying mediocre talent in free agency due to not being able to attract top tier free agents. So shedding salary may look good on paper, but probably wouldn't work out in the long run anyway...

This doesn't make sense for the Warriors. No one should be pressuring that team to make a trade if they don't want to. They have time to look for the right trade, IF, they want to trade Ellis. I didn't like the Nets who tried to pressure us into trading Dwight before the season started and I don't like the fact that we're doing this to the Warriors.

Yeah, I understand we got ourselves in a bind, but it is our consequence to take. Because no matter what we do, we have no guarantee that Dwight stays. He's going to leave, we know this, so don't make it worse for ourselves. What will we do with Ellis if we get him? If we couldn't build around Dwight we won't be able to build around Ellis.

Our first and foremost priority is to get rid of our GM and bring in someone who knows how to piece teams together, otherwise, NO trade will make any sense for this team.

The teams are correct, but the players are not. Some are missing and some are going to the wrong teams. I've been posting this trade since January and now after 3 months the media jumps on it.

Alex Kennedy ‏ @AlexKennedyNBA

The Warriors are pursuing Andrew Bogut. Three-team deal with ORL and NOH has been discussed as Warriors' back-up plan.

I like Bogut, but the guy seems injury prone....although he's averaged around 70 games per season.
