Lin's good enough to make Dwight better. all the complaints you have about Dwight's lack of offense won't matter half as much as long as he's got a PG who can get him the ball in effective spots.
and, as mentioned, between Asik, BBD, Donatas, Patterson, White, Parsons and KMart's expiring, they've got enough talent on that team to bring in significant upgrades in the future. much more than any current Magic player would ever land, that's for sure.
Dwights lack of offense will always matter. Relying on Jeremy Lin (lmao) to make you look better would be a very sad time for Dwight, a supposed superstar. Needing help to win it all is one thing, but needing help to make you a more effective player is something else. That is an obvious glaring weakness in him being a franchise player and I am not sure why you so swiftly ignore it.
And that supporting cast is terrible no matter how you spin it. Jeremy Lin would be his best teamate. And no, Jeremy Lin is not a good enough PG to help Dwight out. The two of them would be the most TO prone combo in the league. That Houston team would just not be very good, especially in the West.
