Stating that Jackson is less likely to be traded.

Kyler seems to phrase things in a way where he can never be wrong.

Yes he does. I would do the same thing if I were him. Only Woj can dish absolutes.

I was done with him early in the season when he refused to rotate out on a 3 point shooter 3 or 4 times in a row and it cost us the game.

I remember this. Nice one.

Mario is way better than we have seen.

I think we are all happy the Magic will soon stop paying Green 15M to not really play basketball.

Anything is WAY better than what we have seen thus far to be completely honest. He tops out as a Kyle korver IMO and that's absolute best case scenario. I could see him having a rasual butler type career where he's useful to great teams as a shooter off the bench, or 3 and d if he can improve his defense. However, right now he's not good at all.
I live rent free in your head. You know who you are :D

Because he is not allowed, his situation reminds me to myself when I played in high school. I was a shooter so, they'd get mad at me if I didn't shoot it and mad at me if I did and missed. If I missed one shot, I'd get benched and not play anymore so you start questioning everything and playing not to make a mistake instead of playing basketball which comes naturally.

Agreed.

Fortunately I just don't see it happening for a few reasons. 1) the game is finally slowing down for him and he is playing better on both ends 2) his trade value is prob currently not high enough

Because he's not a good basketball player. It's no coincidence that 4 coaches have refused to play him. At some point you have to stop making excuses and call a spade a spade.

Incorrect. Immature maybe, entitled maybe, needs to develop sure, hit by NBA learning curve definitely, but not a bad bball player. Recall he did hit 8/8 3pt in a Spanish league playoff game, so he played.

With the starters he is the #5 option by design of the offense. With the mop up team he is the #1 option. Of course it's obvious he hit a learning curve coming to NBA. He is playing much better recently and is much more comfortable. Give him time, lose some of these veterans, and his role, confidence, and aggression will continue to increase.

Also been pleasantly suprised by marios defense of late, both effort and lateral quickness. He did a respectable job on k.leonard.

His off ball defense is also looking much better, with his length he is getting his hands on a lot of balls.

Also passing skills look good. He can really whip some cross court passes with accuracy. Good pick and role lob thrower also, though he maybe looking for it a little to much.

I've heard from multiple people about this happening, I expect Rob to trade for Reggie Jackson, so something similar to this should happen.Image

This would be a dumb trade for multiple reasons.

I wouldn't want to do it because it helps LA tank, we give up on Hezonja, and we get a PG in a PG heavy draft.

It could also ruin our own tank, which is most important right now. We're too close to mess this up again.

Well according to Rob, "Our goal is to make the playoffs" lol If he wants to keep his job for a little longer he knows he has to tank.

That is hopefully just lip service. He can't come out and say "all aboard the magic tank!!!" The trade we made is more for tanking - youth/asset. Only trade I want to see now is getting rid of green and watson, so we can force vogel to play mario big minutes... see if we can get anything going with him before draft/free agency.

I fully expect for the Magic to get Jackson and I'm honestly not sure how I feel about it.

Me personally, they are talented, but I would love to get rid of EP and Mario from here.

Its just that R Jax's salary is a lot of salary commitment.. Decisions, decisions..

Edit: I wouldnt do it though. Too much money. The rumored 2018 1st helps, but with protections its not enough.

Not sure if it will be Jackson, but I fully expect Rob to make another trade or two. I also expect that the team will do somewhat better due to those moves and the Ross one. It might be bad for tanking, but I think Rob and Vogel would like to finish the season as strongly as possible. Rob in particular would probably like to go to Martins and Devos at the end of the seasons and show that he is righting the ship a bit after a disappointing year. He probably will have a better chance at keeping his job if the team has a decent end to the season. I think he rather pick later in the draft and still have his job, then completely tank and then get fired. Not saying that's the smart way to go, but I feel like that is what's going to happen.
