I'm pretty disappointed that Pritchard isn't in the discussion. I would actually like Penn with one of Lindsey or Weaver. I like the idea of having 2 people make personnel decisions.

lol Broussard just said if Miami loses tonight, they should offer Wade and Bosh for Dwight and Ryan

GTFO

btw... for the record... any trade involving Dwight (if there ever will be one) will require the team taking on a bad contract or two (Hedo, J-Rich, etc...)

Broussard: "Message to Pat Riley, offer Dwyane Wade & Chris Bosh to the Orlando Magic for Dwight Howard and Ryan Anderson .. Makes both teams better"

Though it would be the best we could get for Dwight, I don't wanna make Miami better ..

I don't want Wade in Orlando unless it somehow managed to be WITH Dwight, which obviously won't happen. He is 30 and injury prone, stay away from that. We should learn our lesson with aging broken players.

Also, if we hired Penn or Pritchard as GM. I think the other would take a job in the organization.

And I bet he still gets at least the MLE. I'll take BBD for an extra mil a year.

JVG just said the Bass/BBD trade was lopsided in favor of the Celtics.

I celebrated when we traded Bass, and still make that trade 10 times out of 10. I don't know why ESPN is all Brandon Bass is such a key player lately when he's not having a good series at all.

Bass definitely had the bigger impact in Boston than BBD. He's basically the same as with us but Rondo and the crisper offense allowed Bass the start and looks he wants- and he has the great jumper accuracy BBD didn't as much. I think we saw BBD is a better player than Bass by quite a lot, but the problem with BBD in our offense is Dwight/starters steals his offense and Davis most definitely needs that good PnR action and good guard to generate that 17/10 he did efficiently in the playoffs and late season. That's not as easy as having Rondo penetrating and finding Bass open (via threat of KG, Allen, Pierce) for the jumper or open lay in.

This is going to be a huge dilemma for the new head coach. BBD will D up and maybe fit in with Dwight very well if Jameer does some PnR with him which would cut some possessions from Dwight and others. I think it might be worth it, because I could see our wings/PGs really thriving off having double big men to pick from for PnRs and starting to passing it down to the roll man a little more. Ryan makes the case that you just look at his stats and you know how great he is. I'm not sure Davis can match that offense but if he plays like he did in the playoffs, we'd have more inside PnR action, offensive motion and defense. A dilemma for sure.

I don't know, I still squirm every time BBD or Bass takes that outside 15-17 foot shot. I hated everytime either one took those shots. I enjoyed watching Bass when he was with Dallas even. So, I am a fan of both players. I am more of a defense first person and that is why I like BBD more. Plus, love his heart.

Besides, I doubt Bass could have ever pulled out those 20 pt 10 rb games Davis had and lead the team the way BBD done. Being I was at many of the games at the end of the season and playoffs, Davis would pull the team together in a huddle whenever their opponents went on a run to rally them. He truly took it upon himself to lead that team. It was inspiring. He tried so hard and I enjoy that in a player that wants to win that badly. Bass hardly ever showed emotion.
