I'm actually from BK and I can tell you that the heart of NYC basketball is there for the taking.

This isn't like the Yankees with their 27 'chips vs the Mets 2. Or even the Giants 4 SB's vs the Jets constant soap opera.

The Knicks haven't won anything since the Nixon administration, they are a 45 win team with no cap flexibility and inept ownership . If the Nets did somehow get Howard (And I hope this never happens as I'm a Magic fan through and through) and won a championship, people won't hesitate to jump ship.

Just remember in the early part of last decade when the Nets made the Finals it was Spike Lee who was roaming the sidelines of the Izod Center rockin the Nets hat.

I've heard the opposite. That the Kings will only keep the pick if Robinson is on the board. Houston supposdly plans on taking Drummond.

I cant believe the rockets would give up 12 and lowry for the 5 let alone adding the 18

Well, supposedly it's a means to an end, isn't it - they're hoping that if they can get the 5, and possibly the 8, too, they can pry Dwight away from Orlando.

If the Rockets do this, they are leaving a lot up to Dragic returning next year. How are they planning on pursuing the 8th pick with only the 16th pick in their bag? Has anyone heard of any scenarios surrounding that?
