After his miserable summer league, Drummond has had a very nice start to his preseason.

and oquinn hasnt looked nearly as good as he did preseason, total role reversal and goes to show preseason means nothing

Lol you have a strong hunch huh? You, me, and 95% of the sporting world. Pretty much all the ROTY projections I see have AD, Lillliard, and Beal in the top 3.

Lillard is massively overrated. That dude will be a backup within 3 years.

When I say Beal is going to be better than a lot of people expected, I mean he's going to be better than just a ROTY nom (which is what people expect). I've got a hunch that he could become one of the league's elite.

That Washigton backcourt could be next in line to take over from Miami in a few years.

I understand now. I'm not sure if I think Beal will be elite, but I can see him slipping into an ASG or two. What's with the hate for Lilliard?

To any other league pass broadband subscribers....

Can't you guys even get the thing to launch? I could a few days ago, but the past three days I've gotten nothing but a white screen.

I know they don't play preseason games, but still....

Not hating, I just don't rate him as highly as he's been touted. I don't think he's athletic enough to be as dominant in the NBA. He plays smaller than his size, and when he jumps it's like he gets no real benefit from it (kind of like Jameer). His biggest advantage inside is his wingspan, but I think that will be nullified by playing against bigger, faster competition. His shooting is what will keep him in the league - I can't deny that the kid can shoot the lights out.

I think he'll have a dominant rookie campaign, and maybe average up to 17ppg. But I think he goes downhill from there, a bit like Aaron Brooks. He won't be a prolific enough scorer like Monta or Jennings to warrant keeping him as a starter, and within a couple years Portland will have drafted another PG with more of a true PG game.

He could easily prove me wrong. Jameer has managed to have success as a scorer in this league, and I see Lillard as a taller, slightly slower version of him. But I think there are guys in the league who are already much better than him and they still struggle (ie, Augustin).

The real Dwight continues to come out... add obnoxious to his personality. Spotted in LA with a chromed out Lambo. LA fans can't even defend this.

Chromed cars are not cool and shows great lack of taste by the owners.

Josh Smith plans to explore free agency at the end of next season, when he will be eligible to sign a five-year deal

Smith is limited to a three-year extension if he re-signs with the Hawks before June 30.

Would you drop $$$ on Josh Smith?

Would be fine, when we had a certain chromed-Lambo owner on our roster. Now? Pass.
