Taking Mobley makes sense if its a longer rebuild, gives the FO a chance to make a decision on Fultz, Cole, and RJ, and also confirms WCJ and/or Bamba are back ups.

I’m surprised you completely ignored Jalen Green in this breakdown.

I agree that Cade and Suggs are further along but this is going to be a rebuild process no matter our selection.

People said Anthony Edwards was raw offensively and he’s out there dropping 40 every other night.

Green is a higher rated talent than Edwards IMO.

He is exactly the all around offensive scorer we have lacked for so long. That doesn’t mean we have to take him but we 100% have to consider him.

Even if Green projects as a marginal capacity on defense, he is still s clear talent. He could become a Dominique Wilkins type.

Doncic is great and averaged 7.8 points when he was 18.

In second best basketball league in the world, where best players make couple of million dollars per year.

This is ridicilous statement, even by you.
Also , born in February of 1999, Luka played most of the season you are refering - as 17 years old , in 2016-17.
Hence, 2 years later, as rookie, he was listed as "19 years old".

I was told this doesn't matter because:
pepe1991 wrote:Garuba isn't "acomplished" at all. He is not any more acomplished than Hezonja, Bender, Killian Hayes, Avdija or Sekou Doumbouya were in Europe. Guy born in Madrid plays basketball for team where he started his basketball first steps, went through ranks of youth teams and now he is in rotation for Real Madrid, much like all guys above mentioned were for their matical teams.
Literally every Europe team in soccer & basketball does that. They promote youth players from their develomental & youth teams and place them in rotation.

Pretty pathetic attemp to make connections between 2 posts that are not contradicting, but that's execlly why it's pathetic.

Garuba is kid from Mardid, sport meca of Europe where he started his basketball career. He plays on Real Madrid, because that's execlly where he made his first basketball steps.
Opposite of Doncic ( or even Hezonja) kids born in other countries, who Real /Barca scounts found at youth circles due their talent and signed there. Doncic was signed and moved from his Slovenia at age of 13.
At age of 16, he become youngest player to ever make professional doubt for professional Real Madrid basketball team.

But hey, you tried , and you made fool of yourself. Again.

Btw, why Garuba plays basketball and how he dominated his competition

Image

at age of 12 measured at 6'3- 180 pounds. Kid who "guards " him is like 5'4-100 pounds, probably tallest on team.

Garuba for his age was physical outliner of size, athletics and speed. But even by watching single game in 2020-21 season it's not hard to figure he lacks basketball skills, shooting touch or pretty much anything that requires some sort of basketball talent. Probably because he never had to learn anything to dominate. Not suprising, knowing he had body of average male at age of 12.

Who cares where he is from? Why does that matter whatsoever? Garuba is the third-youngest player to ever play for Real Madrid's senior team.

This isn't about Garuba though... This is about you contradicting your own argument that you put up a week ago. A week ago you argue that Garuba isn't accomplished because European clubs gift minutes to anyone that comes through their academy system. I know that's BS. You know that's BS, but you said it just the same. Now you are arguing precisely the opposite. You certainly don't let logic stand in the way of a good argument.

Potential second round target? JT Thor

Any thoughts on the kid? i feel like he would be the perfect "weltman" pick wouldn't he? lol but in seriousness i do think the kid has potential on both ends of the floor.....also apparently he's not 19 years old he's 18 which makes him one of the youngest prospects in the draft

Great find. The kid has a fantastic profile. Looks very JI. Similarly, if his offense can be half as good as his defense he could be a real difference making role player. Maybe a lot more.

Might be better if he got drafted by a team in DC.

Thor is Marvel, though. Joker in DC would be more fitting.
