"Team Sources" say the Warriors are still trying to get Paul, but for a package including Monta...not Curry. Could the Warriors later try to get Howard for a Curry package?!?!!?

So if they trade away their assets to get Paul, who do they trade us? 15 million a year Tyson chandler and Stephen Curry?

The rumored deal to orlando was Chandler and Curry.

Let the Warriors use Monta to get CP3

Send them Nelson + Anderson + Redick, or a S&T J-Rich and give me Chandler + Curry ... Curry is a stud... and he will definitely keep Dwight happy on this team

There are now a lot of scenarios being involved with the addition of Chandler... it can go many routes between NOH and Orl

Yeppp unfortunately it could be that too... a lot of scenarios though

They could send Curry and Chandler to NOH for CP3, and we could go after Ellis... things are happening

There is no way in hell a rebuilding team takes on Chandler's Hyper-Bloated contract......we already have enough of those.

Yeah that contract is crazy for a guy putting up 10/8

Sigh...If Warriors wants Dwight, then I can see why they try to send Ellis to NOH
If we get Ellis that means Dwight's chance to stay is higher, and no team is trying to help us keep Dwight :-?

cruel world, but that's business... if I was a GM on another team, I wouldn't help us either... Otis has to find a way to circumvent this!

if the hornets are considering accepting monta for paul and GSW wants to overpay for a defensive minded C...

well here you go

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=cmold4g

plus Okafor is younger, and on a shorter less expensive contract

we'll throw GS a 1st while we're at it

So the warriors offer chandler a terrible contract, trade for cp3 And than ship chandlers terrible contract to us? No way. That contract is to convince cp3 to come over, not flip that contract

I'd rather have Bynum, Lopez, Bogut, Noah whoever than Chandler on a grossly overpaid contract. Dude is a career 8/8 big at best.

He won't last his contract before becoming another Shard.

Dude came into the league out of High School and has really taken a beating. He has already started to show his decline.

Trust me. Watch him this upcoming season. He won't be the same. Dirk had him looking good. David Lee will make his numbers drop and that is still a good duo. David West even had Chandler looking good. But, he has been in the league over 10 years already.

But, imagine Chandler alongside Anderson or Bass. Disaster.

That came out of nowhere ..
@KBergCBS Ken Berger
Multiple league executives say the Knicks are now in the lead to land Tyson Chandler, jumping in front of the Warriors.

@KBergCBS Ken Berger
If the deal goes through, the Knicks use amnesty on Chauncey Billups and move Ronny Turiaf to make room for Chandler, sources say.

Can they do that and still sign CP3 for max the next season?

Awesome. One less destination for Dwight to consider.

On one hand, Chandler would eat up '12 cap space, though Chris Paul is known to want to team up with him again.

If Knicks amnesty Billups and move Turiaf, they could offer Chandler a four-year deal starting at about $14M.
