can you link?
http://espn.go.com/nba/dailydime/_/page/dime-120309-10/weekend-dime-latest-trade-deadline-chatter
Hedo Turkoglu, sources say, is the first name Orlando has been throwing out in trade discussions over the past week or so. Yet it's one thing to try to foist Turkoglu on a team that's trading for Howard and quite another to try to move Turkoglu, or any other vet in Howard's supporting cast, when Dwight himself isn't part of the deal.
Said another front-office source of the $18 million that Turkoglu is guaranteed over the next two seasons after this one: "They'd have to be willing to throw in at least two [future] first-round picks to get someone to take him."

They made an offer. Orlando turned them down. But just because they did doesn't mean they should be in a hurry to send Ellis to Orlando.

Damn what a bummer. I come back from playing ball and I see nothing has happened so far. And LOL @ the offer Golden State presented to the Magic for Dwight.

This makes me wonder if we've even discussed moving Jameer or JJ or even Anderson to any teams yet. Looks like we've been shopping Hedo for the most part, looks like we want to move him first before giving up any of our main assets.

Agreed. It will be nice to actually focus on basketball for once. This week is going to take forever to end.

I understand what you're saying... but don't take offense to what I said, I enjoy your posts and your outside opinion as a Warriors fan... but I based my comment/frustration not just on the link I posted now, but from the previous report (last week) that mentioned Golden State would only trade Ellis if they received Howard in return somewhere in the previous Thread parts. That too me (and too other posters who have mentioned it before me) is asinine imo. I'm not the only Magic fan that has the same sentiments either. We're all walking on eggshells here as Magic fans (due to Otis and Dwight), so don't take my comments to heart... yes you're right, you're FO offered something and we (thankfully) turned it down... but to me your FO is just crazy to think Ellis is worth Howard, let alone Ellis + Lee. And our GM is not exactly Mr. Reliable. We're worried he's going to pull off a terrible trade, whether it involves Dwight, or not.

i mean he's injured but come on, he's the piece you build around. maybe they know something about his health that we don't
He is a piece that would keep your team around 8th seed forever.
I don't agree with this at all. He is a premier defensive anchor in the league. You can put 2nd tier playmaking and shot creation around him, alongside some great shooting, and contend imo. Injuries derailed Milwaukee's chances, but I really liked the team they put together.
bogut was drafted in 2005, we are in 2012. Which of the pieces you stated that MIL was able to sign in the last 7 years? I think that is a telling sign. Even with those pieces, they are at best ATL.
Bogut is the defensive alter ego of Al Jefferson.

"Aaron Gordon will cost Henny's job by Dec 2016." Predicted Dec 2014.
"O'Quinn will have a longer and more successful NBA career than Nicholson." Predicted Jun 2012. Verified on Dec 2014.

If this YBR guy (who seems nice) is wrong and nothing goes down... I'm never going to TBN again, nor will I ever refer or listen to their "inside sources". Sound like a deal guys?

We see the same stuff here as well. I don't mind it as It helps pass the time and is fun to discuss.

Agreed, I got a message at 5:30 am Pacific time and have been up and amped about it ever since. I'm exhausted and frustrated and just pray to god he wasn't blowing smoke up our asses.

very true... but at least our guys don't post private Twitter DMs with Dwight, and get in trouble because of it

Doubt there were any illusions the Magic would take it. But you got to make an offer - and make it clear you're more focused on getting Howard than making a deal for you guys to keep him.
Now can move on and see what 3-way deals are out there to have all parties leave happy.

I don't think he is, just like i didn't think RevTy was either back in the day. Things change all the time. If Dwight dm'd him about a potential trade there is still no guarantee that it happens.
