Did Oladipo have this one legged jumper in college? It looks like an awkward version of Dirk, but it appears to be working for him so I'm all for it.

I know everyone is still all over the 2014 draft train and all of that but what if we got the guy who ends up better than those 2014 guys. Can't wait to watch how this kids career unfolds in Orlando

Top 7-8 picks in 2014 draft should be really good, so we should be set and fighting for wins next season and hopefully be in playoffs in 2016.

Playoffs 2016? I would like to think in a weaker Eastern conference, with hopefully a top 5 pick a team like below would get a playoff spot

Oladipo (2nd year)
Harkless (3rd year)
2014 pick (if Wiggins/Parker)
Harris (4th year)*
Vucevic (4th year)

*(Harris to 3 if we got Randle)

I know getting 1 of those 3 is going to be difficult unless we completely bottom out, I do think we can and will land one though. Marcus Smart could also be a possability and we would like push everyone up a position and that looks good to me, with the vets (Afflalo etc) please cap space for role playing vets, It's exciting

(2016 we could contend in my opinion)

We've got all the right seeds in place to make it happen tbh. It all just depends on how well they grow. I don't see vucci, harris, or harkless hitting their ceilings in the next 2 years at least. 8-)

We need a long athletic defensive rim protecting big and a dynamic guard (shooting or point depending on what Oladipo is).

Trey Burke with a fractured finger. Dipo's ROY chances improve slightly. Although honestly I don't understand why Trey was a front runner in the first place.

Because Burke is in the best position to produce numbers. Dipo isn't even going to be starting for us (whether its wrong or right). Why would you think the bench guy is in a better spot to get it?

i still think by the time nelson gets traded/misses 30 games Oladipo's going to get ALOT of run.

As others have said, I wager Dipo plays as many or more minutes as Nelson. Jameer starting is a respect move as much as anything else.

Jameer only plays 28MPG anyway, that leaves 20 minutes at the point. We've got Oladipo/Moore/Harkless playing the backup 1 and 2. I think Moore gets 8 minutes a game at the 1 or 2, Oladipo gets 14 at PG and 16 at SG. Harkless mostly at the 3 with a few minutes at the 2.

ROTY will be down to McLemore, Oladipo, Zeller, and others. I think Ben ends up starting game 1 so he'll have minutes on his side.

Ok another consensus, flash forward to the trade deadline who stays who goes? what does your lineup look like after? mine

PG:Dipo/Lamb/Price
SG:Harkless/Lamb/Dipo
SF:Harris/Harkless/Osby
PF:Maxiell/Nicholson/KOQ
C:Vucevic/KOQ/Maxiell

I can be content with that lineup in the second half of the season. I'm going to be honest i don't know how bad we will be. Will we be a bad team? sure but will we be bad enough to get a top 5 selection again? IDK. In next year's draft i would be content with a top 10 selection, not sure if we get another top 5.

Seeing how this season plays out will really shape what we do in next years draft. If the Dipo PG experiment works no need for a Marcus Smart maybe. If it doesn't win/win we'll select smart and move Dipo over to SG, and with Dipo learning how to run a team all season his skills and iq will help him at that spot.

Also if Harkless works out at the SG spot(long shot) we can turn our focus to the PF spot and see if we can swing Randle which would make my cypher complete

Yes... Id move Jameer to a contender so he can get a ring if possible, and move the rest to where ever, I couldn't care less.

****...Move Maxiell if we can, Start Nicolson or Kyle at the 4, keep salmons as a back up
