You are just a pure hater. We get that you wanna see Vic (we ALL do), but Afflalo doesn't deserve to lose his spot. especially since Vic has struggled some. Besides, he can play at PG too. Jameer (who's my favorite player on this team) has struggled to start this season off. Why isn't anyone talking about him being replaced by Vic?

Vic has to earn his starting spot. And he will. Just not yet.

Vic may be playing bad offensively, but Jameer hasnt been much better. They are both shooting poo percentages from the floor, and Jameer is turning the ball over alot too. The only thing Jameer is doing well this year is getting assists.

Vic has actually been a little better because his defensive rating is much better than Jammer's

It remains to be seen if he can lead the league in turnovers if given more minutes.

I think I've made my view on AA plenty clear, so I'll probably keep quiet for a while now.

I don't hate on Jameer too much because he just doesn't piss me off. He's an okay PG who has started slow, whereas AA has started out hot. It'll all balance out eventually.

You're right. he has struggled as a PG right now. But, that doesn't mean he won't get better. Most rookies turn the ball over a lot and shoot slightly below average towards the beginning of the season. He'll get better.

If the 15th pick get's a chance to start and learn through his mistakes, so should the #2 pick. Hell, the #2 pick deserves it more considering the investment.

Exactly. The major regression he had in his game last year was from the 3-point arc, where he shot 30%. Very uncanny for a guy who is a career 38-39% shooter from 3 and had 4 straight seasons of nearly +40% shooting from 3 before coming to Orlando. If there are any stats you expect to average out it's that his 3-point shooting improves a lot.

I don’t know where you guys are getting your stats from, but AA is shooting an abysmal 36% from mid-range this season, which is 17 made shots out of 47 – just terrible. And if I was to break down his mid-range shooting even further, he’s shooting 5o% from right above the free throw area (can’t take this positively because he’s only shot 2 shots from there and made one), 14% from the right of the free throw are (he’s 1/7), and then right above the corner three (mid-range area), he’s shooting 33% (2/6). Let’s look to the left of the free throw line. Right to the left of the free throw line, he’s shooting 33% (4/12), and then right above the corner 3, he’s shooting 37.50% (3/8). All breakdowns are for ranges from 16-24 feet.

If this isn’t terrible, then IDK what is. His only good shot is 8-16 feet away to the left of the hoop. There he’s shooting 83.33% on 5/6 shooting. The rest of the 8-16 feet away, he’s shooting 33% and 43% (3 of 7 shooting).

Don't know how any of you guys can contort these stats to make AA seem efficient or really good, DESPITE his GREAT start.

Nicholson averaged 16.7mpg last year, and it doesn't seem to have stunted his growth, which is primarily a product of work done off the court. Young guys like that only need enough time for them to see what they need to work on.

If we get a good deal for AA, then great. But he's not damaging Dipo's development any more than Kieth Bogans damaged Redick's development during his rookie year.

This is a great point. Same could be said about Harden, too.

I'm not real sure what more people expect from AA @ $6 mill per?! I'd say he's a top 5 player for his pay grade. The dude ain't Kobe, Harden, or Wade.....and that's why he's making at least $12 mill per less. He is what he is. Get over it
