I like Fournier actually but I felt like we should've got the 11th pick not the 56th pick

So where do you think fournier would go in this draft? would anybody be happy if we traded afflalo for a pick in the 20s?

"Makes little sense" is what the "experts" were saying when we traded dwight for unknowns and afflalo. Same for harris. So that's fine with me.

Maybe CLE wants Jameer's sweet sweet contract with the #4 + #12. Henny is a total money ball guy. Fournier must have decent metrics.

Top 20, probably 15th-18th.

I guess I'm more disappointed in the death of acquiring the #1 pick. Fournier very well could end up being a good get. And the additional cap space is nice. I assume we'll be players in free agency. But in the short term, I'm back to worrying about drafting Noah Vonleh and Tyler Ennis tonight.

I wasnt as shocked as i am now. This is def more shocking. I thought for sure you could package him up for first rounder. EASILY

Damn. He had to have more value you than that. Can't see how this is leading to another move, we already have enough cap space as it is.

Got a feeling something big is going down I don't think rob would trade away Arron for that there was way better offers seems like he's got something up his sleeve

Fournier imo is a better passer and better at finishing around the rim than Afflalo. And he's young with room to improve, so let's hope he can!

Orlando will hold a team option on Evan Fournier in 15-16, so in essence the Magic trim $7.5m off next season's books with Afflalo trade.

That's how I see it, none of the offers to trade up materialized, and the Magic think next year's draft is worth sacrificing another season. Maybe a signal we will take Embiid as well. I don't know enough about the Magic's thinking or even about Fournier to completely trash it.

If nothing else, this shows that no one has any inside sources in the Magic Front Office.

Are we really that worried about Cap Space for next year? Are we tanking AGAIN next year. Without some improvement next year, i am not sure how much the fans can take

it's not always directly about cap space because you're looking to sign a player. If you're trying to raid a teams of their resources and they have a piece you want, you may have to be strapped with a bad contract in addition to this piece.

Reporters usually break a trade before the complete deal is actually known. Give it a minute.
