He tried to change his shot before he was even picked and then got injured. Now he's a total mess trying to find a shot that works for him again and probably battling some serious confidence issues as a result.

He is healthy now so we know health isnt the issue anymore. Also why did he need to change? It looked fine in Washington. Its menta at this point. Look at the video of him shooting a free throw and coming nowhere near close. He is shaking and look on his face is like he isnt even mentally in the game. Its a mental case to the highest degree. Kid just is not ready for the spotlight.

Wanted a faster release with textbook set point... I'm guessing his long time trainer had something to do with the decision. Probably should have just stuck with what got him drafted #1 overall... or at least waited to consult with whichever NBA team picked him.

Im thinking its more of an injury with the shoulder. He can easily go back to his old form already if there was no injury, imo.

Allegedly he is still hurt ( at least that's what his trainer posted, than delited).
Last year my problem with him during all progress/workout videos was his s****y body language and he was kind a chubby all the time. I thought it was just because he is injuried. This season rolls and he still has some strange body language and he still looks like Felton

Whole 2017 draft is such a mess right now. Mitchell, Tatum and Fox should went 1,2,3 ( in not particular order ).

For people who think ownership don't interfer into basketball decisions.
Šarić said for Croatian media that he didn't know anything about trade, his coach didn't know AND Gm didn't know and it was deal between 2 owners who made decision and just let others know.

Today’s game is one of those that could separate Orlando from a few teams in the top of the lottery. A win against New York could cost one of the elite players.

Big game tonight to see if the team can get a win to make it to .500. Feels like a mental challenge more than anything with this group.

I don't expect Wah to play as bad as they did in the first half and 3rd quarter of the Friday game. Our bench should be better though, I hope.

Pretty cool seeing that Bamba is still positive on defense despite looking lost often. Gordon slowly creeping into Quadrant I, also known as Vucevic's corner. Low key, Vucevic having his best season as a pro. It can't be denied. He has been a beast - shooting 59% TS! His PER is a career-high of 25. Playing very good individual defense this year as well.

I'm curious to see how long Vucevic can keep this going for. So long as Orlando is in reach of a playoff spot, I think they hold off on trading him, despite his deal expiring. I have no idea what they'll do with him, but I know there are a batch of season ticket holders who want no part of taking steps backward and really love Vucevic. I also don't anticipate the trade market being favorable given that there are a lot of teams with cap space who can simply get him in free agency without giving up assets.

IMHO, they have to (and they will) explore the trade market. If there is a deal that returns something of value to us and helps add balance to the roster, then I think you have to get something in return. They should avoid taking on long term salary, unless it is for a young all-star player, and those are very few and far between. I'm also fine with the Magic letting Vucevic expire and using the cap space in free agency. Either way, he's playing out of his mind. Hopefully it yields a nice return at the trade deadline.

I think Vuc can keep this up because he's not doing anything he hasn't been doing for us in past years, we're just using him better. Steve Clifford has done a great job of getting the most out of all of our players.

As for trading him, I think it depends on if the starting big for a playoff team gets hurt of if teams like the Wizards try to pivot and unload contracts.

It will be interesting to see what happens at the trade deadline. Also, I had no idea Simmons was such a negative.

Looking lost is him still learning the NBA defensive schemes and overall speed of the game I think but he's still able to be a factor with his shot blocking. What has stood out to me with Vuc is his defense he's been getting a block or two a game lately haven't seen him doing that for several season now.

Interesting data.
Vučević so much better than anybody else is funny for all his "haters" still loosing mind telling themselfs that he sucks.
Gordon in his usual no impact on defense or offense.
Bamba already trending to positive impact on the game.
Unlike Isaac.
Evan and DJ still sucks overall, expected from Dj who is career backup, but Evan should rebound soon.

Here is the thing with Vuc- does he suck? No. Is he a fit for the Magic? I think thats what most of us are debating. We spent a high lottery pick on Bamba so we are committed to developing him, where does Vuc fit? If he has a future on the team, where do Bamba, GlassAnkles and AG fit? So the Magic need to decide what direction they want to go in. If Vuc continues to play like this, then I think he is going to be a nice trade piece at the deadline. I am starting to think we could net a mid tier first round pick for Vuc

I'm sorry, I don't mean to be a downer, but I just can't be happy about our recent wins. This team is headed to another 9-10th seed 6th pick. Or even worse, we make the playoffs and get swept.

We've seen how this story plays out, time for something new.
