If we somehow land Cunningham, I think the two would pair nicely.

I was probably the only Magic fan stanning for him even before the season ended. Glad to know a lot are coming into my thinking. However, with our roster construction, if we land a Cade/Green/Suggs, I think Bouknight will duplicate RJ so there are some concerns there.

I suppose if WeHam want a Jordan Clarkson type bench scorer that bad they could go for Bouknight, but we already have Cole so I don’t know why they would.

Seems like the kid has made some progress with his shot....he used to have a ton of load up on his jumper, now he's shooting it in one motion....still needs work but clearly there has been progress....Also i'm hearing he's 6"9 now?

Who knows really. Even if he is "just" a 6'7 PG that would be amazing already.

Buuuttt as you know this the time of the year before draft where an extra inch or 2 can catapult your stock up by 5 positions so agents really throw a lot of ish out there. Hopefully we get the accurate info when they all do their measurements.

Is it just me or does Giddey's shot look a little like Markelle's 3 point form, at least in the upper body.

If you are Kispert or his team, you must really hate this POs when the players you are most likened to in Joe and Robinson has been non-factors.

Haven’t seen this guy talked about much.

6’10, great handle for his size, fast with the ball on the break, good passing instincts, smooth looking shot.

That’s the kind of prospect I’d like to see us collect with 2nd round picks.

Feels like the base skill level for players just gets higher every draft.

Correct. But as I posted I was his fan BEFORE the season ended meaning I havent seen his vids of shooting in gyms. All i saw of him were his games where he relentlessly attacked the oppoaing team using everything he has.

hope i didnt come across attacking you, that wasnt my intent. honestly, this year seems even more of a cr@pshoot after the first 4 picks. You have players that could develop into really good players or they could never develop their outside shot.

Yeah i like him, he's on my short list if we decide to use the second rounder for a draft and stash....you just don't see a 6"10+ player move like this very often

His elbows are at hip line. Big wingspan number for the slot.

DOnt even know who this guy is, but love this thought process for our 2nd rounder

High upside, low risk
especially if its a stash

Oh no problem, I didn't feel that way. I was just clarifying my "fanhood" of him was before those usual empty gym 3pters.

I could get that.. but he is 20 right now. Should we even still stash him? I thought 20 yr old rookies should be " thrown to the fire" already?

I was referring to the process itself, use the 2nd on a high upside project, and if they happen to be a stash, even better.

Like i said, i didnt even know who this kid was before today (although have to say im VERY impressed from the youtube videos so far), so no idea if hes a stash candidate

Ah I understand. Yeah I get that, hopefully WeHam can convince an overseas or even a NCAA player to stay in the draft with the promise of draft and stash THIS year becasue we predict that the player could be a lotto pick NEXT year. Kind of like Chuma
