Lol I don't know who "thethief" is but it doesn't sound too good :O haha but I don't want to be labeled as a guy who is trying to spread fake rumors, I don't have "inside sources". I just know one guy who does media related things with the Magic for home games and I post what he hears, whether it's in the lockerroom during interviews, from co-workers, etc. I would post his name but I don't want to get anybody in trouble. But I will gladly point him out at the next home game I go to if anyone wants "proof"

- For those who are saying that Golden State will ONLY trade Monta for Dwight, please stop. Right now Monta Ellis' value is higher than it will be next year. There are definitely teams who want him. And Golden State management still believes they can make the playoffs. Obviously Dwight is on the market right now and Golden State believes they can put together a package that would be worth it to the Magic for Howard. Monta for Joe Johnson is a pretty lateral trade and they'd be taking on a big contract. Golden State knows what they need to do before the deadline. Will Monta get traded? Who knows, but his name is definitely out there to several teams. When the deadline approaches, and Orlando is showing more interest to other teams, or decide they're keeping Dwight, I wouldn't completely count Monta out. Orlando just needs to put together a good package and hope that GS will bite when the time comes.

- Glen Davis has apparently told others he expects to be traded. Apparently he's not happy whatsoever about his role in Orlando. He wants to win, he wants to start, and he wants Stan to trust him more.

- The morale in the locker room around Turkoglu has been pretty bad at times. The guys all like him and he's one of the locker room favorites apparently, but frustration has been apparent after several games.

Like I said, no major news. I don't want to be considered "that guy" so I can stop posting things if you guys would like. I'm not going to get any new information til Sunday

Just stop. Amare is having his worst year since he was a rookie, he has lost all athleticism, and his contract is uninsurable.

I'm just a big Monta fan and always have been, so I'm keeping my hopes up it happens. I don't think it's that likely, but it has a lot better chance of happening than most of these "reporters" are making it seem like.

Hahaha luckily all I've gotten is pretty basic information. He's been seeing/hearing things all year just because of his job. I'm actually not looking forward to the day he hears pretty big information just because I'd be tempted to post it but I wouldn't want to get my head chewed off :lol:

You're fine... it's when people promise things are happening, saying that they know this and that.. then nothing happens.

TheRevTy was a good example of a guy who would just hear things and then say what he heard but never promise anything... usually seemed to have merit too... but people just would freak out when things didn't happen. But as you can see, most of the more veteran posters here liked Rev a lot.. No clue where he went.
