Funny that everyone has jumped on this trade as it actually makes more sense then what Orlando is even offering... LOL... So answer this, who would you rather have moving forward:

Monta and a slight chance at keeping Howard

or

JJ and Anderson with no chance at keeping Howard

Kaman shouldn't even matter to the Magic as your only goal should be to put whatever you possibly can in place to keep Howard there. It should be obvious JJ and Anderson ain't accomplishing that. If you lose Howard, you are going to be rebuilding anyway... Monta is a much better trade chip than both Anderson and JJ (especially with his contract), so he can be moved even if Howard goes. That is not even close to being too much to give up to possibly keeping your franchise in championship contention for the next 5 years...

Exactly, and hopefully the Magic FO is in the same mindset. If Dwight leaves then our pieces really don't matter, we won't be able to contend, so you give up what you have to.

Also in any dwight trade say with the knicks we must demand to get back shumpert and fields while sending out big baby, hell I kno its difficult but after the season trade nelson and chandler for a bad contract and a high draft pick so we can get our pg of the future to grow with fields and shumpert

I'm saying they need to be added to whatever we get back like chandler and anthony, I personally don't want anthony on this team unless it gets rid of hedo, but with shumpert and fields coming back with whoever we are getting we get 2 defensive players who one can hit the 3 and take it to the basket a little and the other can take it to the basket and hit the 3 a little, shumpert can guard the 1-3 fields can guard the 2 n 3

This is the best three team deal I could come up with.

Its easy to see why the Magic do it, on the other hand Mil and GSW both have their reasons for not doing it. Although Mil can part with Jackson they would get an even worse contract in return for Hedo and Ryan would be stuck playing behind Ilyasova.

GSW can get rid of Biedrins although I don't know what they see in a consistently injured Bogut and while getting J-Rich back is nice he would be stuck riding the pine behind Thompson while making 6 million per.

Trading jj AND j-rich is a big no from me, and I'm not hyped on sjax like some ppl here

From what I've read, it seems like GS is just exploring all their options, the see what they can get from us and NO, now they are going to check out MIL. The big kicker with that is there is no way GS will take back SJax.. to much of a bitter exit there. Also.. if GS still wants to try to win some games this season, you want to nab Kaman not Bogut who is out for probably the rest of the season. They will weigh their options and see what they think is best. I like our chances.

GS is not getting a good center without a trade going through Orlando. No one else is interested in helping GS facilitate that. No one is willing to take back salary from GS or Mil (Sjax). We have picks and youth that NOH wants.

Then they take the $10 mil in cap and go that route.
