If the Magic got Jennings and Noel, this team would be horrible for so many years afterwards and Henny would be out of a job.

You know who we should really sign this off season? Anyone that wants a 1 year contract and no playing time. We have a plenty full roster with who is currently on the team and our draft picks. Plus, i think one full year to evaluate how consistent harkless, harris, vuc lool next year. We have very little idea of how good most of our players actually are right now. I think this up coming season will/should be used to tank and to evaluate our current roster/rookies. Once we evaluate where we are next season we will build our core that will lead us for the next 2-5 years.

I'll pass on Jennings, towards the end of the season he started to play like a pg should but typically he's a shoot first pass later pg which is what we really don't need. If i'm not mistaken he is looking for a lot of money as well. Let Dallas take him, I heard they're really interested in him anyways. Ellis would've been good for this team when we were supposed to get him, by the time this team becomes a contending one, Ellis would be past his prime.

lol if we drafted oladipo and got jennings could you imagine how horrible on offense this lineup would be?

, in what way am I standing up for Jennings though? I don't know his life off the court, nor do I care to, I have seen good games out of him though. I am not advocating we pursue him, all I did was put the info in this thread and was curious to see what the response would be, positive or negative. Personally I don't know enough about his attitude, but he's only 24 years old and from looking at his game logs this season, the guy can score and can distribute the ball (look at his assists), a change of scenery might do him good. Either way, I like Ellis or Jennings for our team, we could use either of them very well.

Oladipo just strikes me as a guy you draft on a need basis, like if you have a scoring PG or SF and you need a lockdown defender at the 2. I just don't feel comfortable using my 2 guard slot on a guy that is not offensive minded when we have no other really offensive threats on the team yet.

I actually started laughing out load when I read this. It's comical how you can put Noels name into every post, even ones that don't involve him.

That's why you don't take Jennings. I don't like players that shoot low %.

I am morbidly curious about Jennings' market value and who really wants him. I guess the Kings or Dallas or Atlanta could all be interested in him. I expect the new CBA to be a harsh mistress for Jennings, Ellis, Smith, Jefferson and a few of the other 3/4 tier free agents (Kevin Martin, Redick, etc).

Have us taking Porter. If Noel is off the board I think you have to go with B Mac. He's got a versatile skill set to go with some very nice hops and athleticism.

UK's Nerlens Noel will make his 1st visit to a team Sunday when he's in Orlando. Cleveland (No. 1) not scheduled yet.

anyone interested in thomas robinson? has it on wiretap that the rockets are trying to move him. another young pf with potential. they're just trying to dump the salary so he could probably be had for part of our tpe.
