I like Moore, he's 25 or 5 and can make shots when we need shots to fall. He's reliable.

no real need for moore when Doron can do all the same things, it's either or really. They're basically the same kind of player combo guards that can shoot the rock and initiate offense if you need them to plus doron is a bit younger so that gives him the slight edge for me

i agree i wasnt particularly high on him before, but in the role he's played in the preseason, he's more effective. The offense grinds to a halt when he's pg but if we just put him at sg and let him shoot he should be fine.

I'm rooting for lamb this year, but Moore is the sure thing and I'd assume the superior defender. (I realize this is all hypothetical, just thought it interesting you give edge to lamb) Looking forward to seeing him off injury, I believe JV or someone on his staff was raving about his improvement this summer

Yeah, the director of player development for Orlando said over the summer that Lamb was going to surprise everyone this year. I don't mind him or Moore, just wanted to point out Moore is not someone we need to ship off. He might be valuable though if we do. I'd like to see Lamb bring something first though.

I have heard several Magic staff comment on Lamb's potential upside following a good off season. It was mentioned that his 3 point shooting could be among the best in the league.

Rob's staff has mentioned not skipping steps this year. I think he is referring to giving the young guys the keys to the castle too early. The "right" vets, as they say will stay and that will depend on there attitude toward their changing role and their trade value. I think Maxiel was brought in to be the "right kind of vet" , the Magic are looking for someone who can BOTH lead by example and defer to the young guys. Some of our vets see themselves in a bigger role on a team and they will be aggressively shopped. I think guys can somewhat decide thier own destiny here, certainly Jameer could.

agreed 100%

If BBD, Jameer and AA can take the back seat gradually then I don't see their being an issue. My money is on AA and BBD not liking those roles too much though.

I dont mind AA or Jameer on the team going forward, IMO BBD has to go, he seems to be a me first player and on a long contract. Julius Randle is my frontrunner for our pick (assuming we dont get #1) as him next to Vuc would be amazing.

What's funny about this is all three of those players averaged the same amount of shot attempts (14) last season and had plenty of moments of looking like ball hogs, yet everyone always singles out big baby even though he had the highest FG% and best defense out of the bunch. If you think BBD is a me-first player, then you should think the same about Afflalo and want him out, too. The truth is all of those vets were given the green light to take the most shots in their careers last season. They were instructed to lead the team. Put them on a team with better, experienced star players and they will look very different. Btw, Afflalo's contract is not only longer, but also more expensive than big baby's.

Yup. It's amazing how often it is incorrectly used. No personal disrespect to cecric76 here. "The Bucks are worst than last year", "The Magic are the worse team in the league". I see it again and again on here and to be honest, all over the internet.

Baby's problems are going to be off the court I'm afraid. I just hope the man can have a solid career here or elsewhere. I would like to keep Jameer. With Afflalo it might be a matter of seeing what Hark or Dipo can do at the 2.

Ced is not American and I don't believe he even lives in the US, So english isn't Cedric's natural language and I'm pretty sure he's better speaking and writing in our language then you or I are at his.

Sorry to jump on you or single you out (as a lot of people do this), but it's just a pet peeve of mine (American arrogance type thing). It just irks me when Americans jump on a foreign guys non-perfect but still understandable English while 90% of the "Natural Americans" don't speak or understand anything outside of their own.

Yeah I think he picked the wrong poster to promote that example, but he probably didn't know. You can almost flip it around as a compliment toward Cedric. Well now I've met my "glass half full" quota for the month.

Anyway, worse vs. worst isn't anywhere near the thing that drives me nuts on here. It's the usage of would of, could of, and should of that distract me the most from reading something seamlessly. I'm no grammar expert, but step up your game peeps!
