So far so good for Monday's letdown. Lots of young players having great games to start the preseason around the league.

yeah its still early but Im 100% sure of him always was If there was a chance to get him even 1% chance we should have gone all in.

Damn, who said that? Doncic was the guy almost all of us wanted I thought. That being said, probably want to wait for a good sample size of regular season games before jumping into “i told you so” mode.

I think doncic will be great. What i want to see is if he is a scorer in this league or more of a distributor.

If we were picking at 5 in this past draft, we totally could've made that same deal with Atlanta granted that they would want to deal with a team within the same division/conference. We won unnecessary games towards the end that took us out of a top 5 pick.

I love Bamba though and think we will be just fine. However I do hope that Frank Vogel never gets a job again in the NBA.

Looking back, I wish we never hired Vogel and canned Hennigan before he could make the Ibaka trade. Doncic is what this roster needed. Bamba was a good consolation, but just like KP it was another miss on what was a terrible season. Those kind of players don’t come around very often. 7 ft defensive Centers do. The X factor in that situation of course is Bamba’s offense and how real it is or can be.

A lineup of Fournier/Doncic/AG/Isaac would make way more sense than what management is left with now.

I thought Smith looked good last night, him getting C like Deandre who is walking target for lob will open his game and help him and Doncic a lot.

I hate how well Dallas fared in their rebuild. They were shameless in their tank, drafted players that made sense with their roster, and made great signings. Dallas will surprise people this year.

If you all dont stop living in the past and bringing back these "what if" scenerios again again and again, your gonna fall deep into clinical depression. The moves were made and this what we have. The future of JI + Bamba could be better then any combo of the described players above. My only gripe that Im still sour about is Oladipo but its over so we gotta move on.

Luka does one behind the back and backboard Euro finish, and we already getting HOF speech ready. Seriously?

You are a good poster, but I swear you are the biggest apologist for this FO. They haven’t even played yet and you are ready to downplay everything. Who’s to even say it’s the end all be all?

I know they are rookies and essentially it’s a hollow season for them. However, you should also be well aware that it doesn’t go both ways when you see players like KP, Tatum, and Mitchell thrive in rookie seasons.

In all honesty, I probably put more value in the posters that are vocal about how this organization is run , rather the ones that assume everything is running smoothly and that there is nothing to talk about. Yes you keep it “real” by telling yourself that you have it all figured out after preseason game 1 and 3 interviews with Clifford. That’s really deep stuff man. Id be stunned if you have even played ball at any decent level and actually know close to as much as you think you do.
