This is my view too. I’m not joining the conspiracy bandwagon. Remember, the teams see the drawings privately. You would need conspiracy by 14 and then by 30 by another few lotteries in. Make it 15 and 31 with the NBA as the final actor.

They owe a top 8 protected first to New York. If they have to send it, our swap simplifies to just Phoenix!

Example:
Washington gets the 9th pick and sends it to New York.
Phoenix wins the lottery and gets the #1 pick.
We swap with Phoenix and get their pick!
