Yeah I have a feeling Howard had a meeting with some players, not every one. Like that matters. He told our team President and other Magic officials that he was opting in. That should be enough confirmation.

And yes. The Magic aren't stupid. They will most likely have that ETO wavier signed before the Spurs game even starts.

Looks like there's more traction for him signing the papers to opt-in than him not signing the papers. Overall, good news. At least way better than a few hours ago.

If that DOES happen...that will only make next year even worse. DWill+Kobe+Dwight speculation will be even crazier. Dwight for Bynum 2013 will be ESPN's fav starting the first day if DWill would end up there

There is only one guy claiming he won't sign and that is the Nets nut hugger from yahoo.

Dwight Howard has also told several friends and family members that will opt-in to the final year of his contract, according to sources.

The Nets are stupid to take on a $20 million contract on a soft, aging PF if they're about to rebuild (or continue to build??)

They aren't going into full tank mode going into the new arena. They will take picks, young talent and a competent player who will keep them mediocre.
