Yes, and keep in mind first round picks get guaranteed money and they're not looking to add to that right now.

Second round picks do not get guaranteed money.

I know, I was referring to why we weren't picking up a first round pick. It's late didn't mean to direct that at you lol

they haven't said, I'd bet they are, they're already getting robbed if they are, let alone if they're not.

I thought I read that the last two were unprotected...could be wrong.

oh right! I read that too

Nets give up way too much for a very small window to compete. They have maybe a year, two tops out of KG/Pierce, and neither will be nearly as effective as they once were, and once they're done they'll have a very tough time rebuilding.

Really though...Nobody SHOCKED Carrick Felix was drafted before a guy with as much talent as Tony Mitchell?

From everything I read Mitchell was NAILING interviews.

Felix is just one of those glue guys you find on championship type teams.....Still can't believe he is gone. He wasn't even in DraftExpress mock draft.

Crazy.

They are really taking a risk giving up those picks which are very valuable in this CBA.

This ownership in Brooklyn is bloodhearted about winning a title though.

Absolutely brutal trade for the Celtics if it happens as reported. Seems more like a favor to PP and Garnett.
