I am just laughing so hard that NO sent out the unprotected 1st round pick for Derek Queen. lol. That could be a Top 3 pick in the loaded 26 NBA draft.

However, I do think Zion could be a dark horse candidate to get removed from New Orleans this season. Just my prediction

Don't forget trading the Haliburtonless Pacers their 2026 pick back for pick 23 last year. That pick also looks like it could be very high.

Honestly when stuff that insane happens theories that the league made him their VP to do stupid stuff become appealing to me. It just doesn't make sense. Like there is a world where Queen is better than the pick they traded even if it is top 3, that's just how prospects work, but not protecting that still makes absolutely no sense, it would never happen. Pelicans project to be way too bad to do something like that. Maybe the NBA wanted to get more talent to the East somehow and will start next year.
