Crawford is not the answer. Period. Really hope this is a smokescreen. We're not getting past the elite with these halfway star players. If this actually happens, which I don't think it will and Dwight leaves, Otis must be fired. He's made some good moves, but in the last 12 months he looks awful.

I think I would be mad if CP3 got traded and word got out that "Otis didn't even bother calling them or looking for a deal with a third team involved" ... and then proceeded to S&T our last bit of decent assets for an overpaid and aging Jamal Crawford :evil:

It looks like they're exploring the better deals but like I said in the GB last week, I dont think the Clips would be willing to risk losing so much for a one year rental and essentially getting nothing in reture when Paul bounces. Makes sense that teams like Dallas, Boston, and Houston would risk him not re-signing with them because really they have nothing to lose. The article said

That list, sources say, includes the Rockets, Boston Celtics and defending champion Dallas Mavericks

Includes so Im sure there are more teams including Orlando.

Ya, I've been wondering if maybe this is some sort of package deal involving JSmith.. Which still.. we'd be overpaying Jamal by A LOT, but I think Josh might be enough to convince Dwight to hang around, even though I still doubt our championship qualities with that lineup

If we get Josh Smith, then I'm all for it

The collective talents of Smith and Crawford makes it better. Crawford alone is just sad.

I dont know man, this doesnt seem right not for that much money. If it's true then it's the only thing he's got imo. It's an upgrade over Jrich and JJ imo in terms of scoring I like it but clearly not the answer we were looking for. If this is true, then I hope Otis has somehow convinced dwight to wait until next offseason, I just dont think he'd add Crawford for that much without something else in his back pocket. Maybe GS wants Crawford instead of Jrich and GS/Orl/Atl have got something going on..who really knows.

I can't decide if an Arenas/Crawford backcourt would work.
