- You can't trade the most dominate center of this era and get better.
- Nets don't have anymore more leverage to get Dwight than we do to get Derron, there's NO reason to bow down to them.
- Change the mentality of this team, put billboards up, change the philosophy and show we EXPECT to win, show everyone this is Dwight city and during games chant MVP louder than the P.A Announcer.
- Let Dwight be more apart of the F.O, not let him make trades but let him feel involved.

Excellent summary. I agree with all of this. Management has to stand firm and convince Dwight that a championship contender can be built in Orlando. I don't live in the city so I do not know how strong the support really is, but there definitely needs to be a winning attitude and a confidence in the city that we are worthy of a player of Dwight's caliber and can win multiple titles. I have a belief that Alex Martins will be able to accomplish this, but we will see what happens.

Let's hope so

What teams that were in the mix for CP3 are going to start trading? I'd love to get excited for a wave of signings and trades, but I don't see anything out there that was contingent on CP3 going somewhere. Outside of like 4 teams, no one had any business with CP3.

Paul is supposedly only agreeing to opt into his contract. He could only be there for 2 years max then bolt. And he has an injury history.

so the hornets can get all that for paul

yet we can't get a single asset as good as gordon or min pick for d12?

great trade 4 hornets, bad for clips
aol4532 on bill russell
I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

Bledsoe is only one of Clips' top five trade assets hekd out of deal. But CP3 opts in for 2012-13, so Clips assured two years of Blake/CP3

OMG, I hope LAL ups their offer for Howard if he indeed is bolting.

Anything short of...

Bynum/Gasol/Caracter/Ebanks

for

Howard/Hedo/QRich/Duhon

....is a huge EPIC FAIL in my book. I would rather have Gasol and Bynum or flip Gasol for a wing scorer and make the playoffs as say the 5 seed than completely suck for a decade and see the Amway Center half empty. But that's just me. Watching Howard walk away leaving us with...

Nelson
JRich
Hedo
BBD
Anderson

Is a nightmare.
