Possibly replace JJ with JRich or maybe JRich + Q (GSW wants some defense too).

We run with:

Monta
JJ
SJax
Lee
Dwight

Offensive powerhouse of a team imo, and pretty decent defensively.

ORL receive: Monta Ellis+Trevor Ariza+Earl Barron

GS receive: JJ Redick or J-Rich+Chris Kaman

NO receive: Jameer Nelson+Kwame Brown+Q-Rich+Daniel Orton

Orlando gets a potent scorer to pair up w/ Dwight, a back-up center (finally), and have to take on a bad contract in Ariza.

GS gets a serviceable big man and expiring contract, they also receive either A) J-Rich (a fan favorite) or B) Redick to fill in their SG void.

New Orleans receive expiring contracts in Nelson, Brown (I know he's injured and out for the season, but isn't it possible for him to still be traded? Marquis Daniels was still traded to the Kings after being injured in a game against us), and Daniel Orton. Also Q-Rich is on a better contract than Ariza and it allows Aminu to take over the starting role.

I know New Orleans would want more in terms of draft picks and youthful talent (maybe the Magic and/or GS can send more rookies their way).

This is an old trade idea I posted a while ago. Since Earl Barron was waived off the Warriors, so he can't be used anymore in any trade.

ORL receive: Monta Ellis+Trevor Ariza

GS receive: JJ Redick or J-Rich+Chris Kaman

NO receive: Jameer Nelson+Kwame Brown+Q-Rich+Daniel Orton

As stated above the Hornets would want more picks/young talent.

Cause Kaman's the player the Warriors would want the most imo. they already have a very good PF in Lee. so, they don't need Ryan... they do need a Center, and, they were rumored to be interested in J-Rich. and, don't think Meer and Orton would've gotten it done. I also didn't look at the Warriors roster to be honest with you. so I wouldn't know who they would give up to get Kaman since I don't really know their players. maybe they trade Wright and we keep Ryan while they also take Ariza?

Doubt GSW would trade Lee, it would have to be Biedrins.

Something like this(replace JJ, with J Rich),

But, would they really want Hedo, and, an unproven player for Jackson? doesn't Hedo also have one more year on his contract?

I figured they wouldn't want to have BOTH Lee and Ryno, those are similar players and they still don't have a real C, unless they wanted to slide Lee to the 5, but that still doesn't solve their issue of getting a legit big. At least this way they get a younger guy with maybe more upside in Ryno, who has a similar game to Lee but with more range and prob a better rebounder. They can maybe give him 4 yrs 36 mil or so, which is cheaper than Lee's contract.

I wonder if THEY would be interested in SJax.....hmm, what about something like this (replace JJ with JRich):

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachi ... Id=7mh6ku6

I'm actually really surprised Hollinger predicts them to lose THAT many more games with that lineup. I think that lineup is maybe a better fit than what they have now. Certainly not 5 games worse.

Maybe could have GSW throw in another chip to MIL to sweeten the deal, but I don't know. Evidently SJax has become a complete cancer to that team from reports I have read. I'm pretty sure they would love to be able to trade him. Hedo would fit decently on that team I think, since Jennings is more of scoring PG than a passer (which is why Hedo works here and not in PHX or TOR).

I really like this trade.

Best part (besides getting Monta)? We severely lower Hedo's minutes and completely knock Q out of rotation.

GSW only incentive to take JRich instead of JJ is the fans there would love JRich coming home and he would be there for 3 + years and possibly put up 18ppg whereas Redick would probably go else where after next season. Give them Nelson/JRich/Anderson/Orton/2 or more firsts for Monta/Beidrins. That's one of the only trades I would give up Ryno. They would be ecstatic to run with Ryan and Lee at the 4 and 5 spots. They would have balanced scoring 1 - 5.

On the Anderson argument, people are way under valuing and under appreciating his abilities. Everyone says he only does well with Howard but he does just fine with D12 on the bench. Also, if we did trade for Lopez or Bynum then Ryan would get the same number of open 3 pt looks, if not more, because as most people say, Bynum and Lopez have better offensive moves and are better players on the offensive end thus giving Ryan his shots...right???

If the above mentioned trades go down would this lineup keep Howard for sure???

Only thing is, I read somewhere (I forgot where though) that if they trade Monta they want Biedrins to go with him, unless it's a Rudy Gay type of talent.

Yep, he does just fine without Dwight. I hate it when people say "Dwight's the only reason Ryno is having this kind of year".

Actually I think Hedo will still be starting on the team if a trade like that went down. The best thing about a Q-Rich<-->Ariza swap is we would have a younger player, a better defender, and maybe some more scoring punch off the bench. Ariza's shooting numbers are in the toilet right now, but he can do more things on the offensive end than Q can.

That's true, but I think we might be willing to do that.

Otis seems hell bent on not signing a backup C, we've needed one for over a year now, which coincides with the rumor that we have been talking to GS about Monta for about a year.....

I really think Otis is targeting him, maybe they want more of a traditional SG to play alongside Curry?
