When is the last time a team won ANYTHING building through the draft?

Dallas.... Yeah they had dirk, but they traded for terry, chandler, Marion, Kidd, Stevenson
Lakers... Weren't sht until they stole gasol
Celtics... Weren't sht till they got kg and ray
Detroit... Got players from other teams and made them fit

Since the heat haven't won one yet I won't put them in there, but they got lebron and bosh from other teams, as well as shaq when they won one

The only team in the past 13 years that has won through the draft is San Antonio... And that's cause Robinson was hurt and they lucked out in drafting the perfect complement to him and the greatest of ever... They added pieces through the draft such as Parker and ginobili, but those were both very very late picks and they're good at drafting

Don't tell me okc either, cause they haven't won sht...

What we need to do is trade his ass to LA for a package centered around Bynum...

If we don't and we go the lotto way, I promise you, we will find ourselves in the same situation in 6 years... Once the rookie we draft becomes a star, they will already have been losing for a few years... They'll get tired of losing and bolt...

You calling Rose and Durant bolting then?

wow

Oh my effin God... I'm going to find the Warriors douche owner and punch him so hard... We could have got him a way better package that involved them getting Bogut... that douche just didn't want to give us Ellis, because in his delusional mind he thinks the Warriors have a shot at Dwight

This is bull****... absolute BULL!

Ellis and Jennings in the same backcourt will fail miserably.

Anyone remember a random comment by the Hornets GM saying Otis would come out of this smelling like roses ??

Any chance of that happening ??!

cant say for sure, thats why i added the imminent and close part as humor, my friend has the box/media passes and the reps/people work with the team were talking about it happening tonight, don't know for who, but either i got trolled and then trolled you guys, my bad  shouldn't of responded like that knowing we are on edge

Wouldn't be surprised to see the Bucks try to move Jennings. There was a report earlier about this, but then it was shut down. Maybe just a cover up.

I'm starting to think we weren't keeping Dwight even if we got Ellis.

It's over, it's been over.
