Jarrod N Rudolph ‏@JRudolphSports
Sources: Magic and Lakers are discussing the reported 4 team deal. But nothing is imminent as they are discussing other potential deals.

Indeed. Taking Kennedy's latest Tweet as it's his own.

Not necessarily, they might have the same source (Fegan) And received the news at the same time.

no. Alex is using Rudolph as his "source". Kennedy only knows lower-level players.

Maybe i'm just jumping the gun, being biased because of my ill hatred towards Rudolph.

Tony Mejia ‏@TonyMejiaNBA
NBA source says there would be nothing holding Denver or Philly from this deal, but its more Lakers and Magic exploring options. Not close.

At least they're learning to make sure the 3rd and 4th teams in their rumors also are rumored to want to do the trade, unlike in the previous versions of Dwight trade rumors.

Anybody care to speculate on Alex Martin's quote about what the "3 primary and very specific goals" they are looking for in a Dwight trade?

What do you think the 3 are?

I would assume (don't know order of priority)

1) Cap relief, dump bad contracts/guys who don't fit the team-first perspective (JRich, Duhon, maybe Turk)
2) Draft picks
3) All-star/potential all-star player back as well as a young gun or two

If we want to flip Gasol for assets, why not just trade for Bynum and flip him for more assets? I'm sure he'd net us far more than Gasol.

The Magic want Pau, and I understand that, but if Pau was the desired piece, why wait so long to ask for him?

I can not stand Rudolph.

Tony Mejia ‏@TonyMejiaNBA
Source: Exploratory. Option of moving Pau has always been there, but nothing Lakers are serious about, especially with Nash on board. FWIW

Sadly (for us)....a Nash + Dwight combo is way more lethal than a Nash + Bynum/Pau combo. The spots that Nash would get Dwight the ball at in the pick-n-roll would make him extremely effective offensively I think. Bynum is more of a post player that doesn't fit the pick-n-roll as well, which was lucky for the Lakers because they've never really had a legit PG until now.

Let's get serious too. If you are the Lakers do you REALLY give up the chance to team Nash, Kobe and Dwight up?? Stop...

If the lakers are only getting Harrington, why don't we just take pau and Bynum and send out D12/BBD/JRich?

Mejia is a bit of an Orlando homer though. I know he wants the Rockets deal lol.
