This is a very interesting Tweet. One that could mean absolutely nothing, maybe just reacting to a false information or maybe it means he is gone...

As for needing him more than anything Golden State has to offer...

I would take Barnes or Thompson over Nicholson in a second. Especially Barnes. I highly doubt Golden State would move either of them...but I would be thrilled if we added either. Especially considering Oladipo could potentially end up being our PG. Thompson would be a perfect fit at SG for us. Barnes would just be another great asset but we would have to move one of Harkless, Harris, or Barnes.

Also, if there really is a real scenario that allows Golden State to land both Iggy & Dwight...Barnes would certainly be the expendable one. That would be a HUGE pickup for who ever can grab him.

They trade Bogut, Biedrins, & Jefferson while just giving up picks along with them. Then, they sign Dwight outright and then trade either Klay or Barnes to Denver for Iggy in a S&T. Pretty simple actually.

My ultimate goal in this situation is for the Lakers not to be a part of a Howard sign and trade. But likely they'll get something.

Well that is just a poor move then, IMO. Iggy isn't worth trading either Barnes or Thompson for when you are trying to build around Dwight.

Iggy is reportedly gonna get close to $14-15m per year. How do you do a sign and trade for guys making rookie contract salaries? Not even close to matching. Am I missing something?

Iggy was going to get 14, but after the Kings took that away, he'll likely be at 12. Point still remains. Golden State has just agreed to a trade with Utah. Beidrins?

They're saying it would be clear cap room for Iggy, sign him outright, then sign and trade with Lakers for Howard. Lakers would only want Bogut if I had to guess, not Biedrins or Jefferson. I think Bogut prob ends up in this Utah deal though so I'm thoroughly confused as to what will pan out. Maybe move Jefferson, have enough to sign Iggy, and then do like David Lee and Barnes for Dwight. That might make sense.

Edit: WTF? Why on Earth is Utah wanting those contracts? I don't get it. What sort if picks are they getting to want that? Now GSW can sign iggy and then do a sign and trade for Dwight using Bogut/Lee/Barnes. What a joke.
