Who or what do you think they would give up for Nelson? They will probably just resign Jennings to go with Mayo.

I don`t think they are enamored with Jennings.

After losing JJ and Monta, and now not signing Teague, i think they will have to rebuild (again).

Just look at that and compare it to Oladipo who got like 22 points off 7 shots. I like Ben McLemore but there is a reason why, as a GM, i would never use a top 5 pick on a guard who cannot create a shot off the dribble. Sorry.

As a guy who wanted Mclemore over Oladipo, I just want to say that I'll be ecstatic if I'm completely wrong.

Would be better to compare it to Oladipo's poor shooting night in game 2... i think he went 2/12 fg, 0/3 from three for 12pts. The difference is instead of continuing to jack up shots, oladipo got aggressive and went to the line (8/10 ft).

Yeah, better comparison. He was missing shots but those came at the rim where he was getting to the line.

I was thinking Udoh and the Greek guy (or a future pick)

Just some brainstorming.

Bucks ain't going for Nelson. Nelson is not netting a future 1st by itself much less another player. Maybe, only maybe at the trade deadline from a playoff bound team, but the Magic would be lucky to get a future 1st for Nelson alone.

Afflalo has poor production over his career with a PER below the league average. However, he's been a low usage, high efficiency player on some very good Denver teams which is exactly the kind of support structure you want around our core. With the drafting of Oladipo and the trade for Harris we now have the promise of a core. Afflalo can fit right in and for eight million is good value considering his high efficiency in the past. Now that we have Oladipo I think we can actually start building around him. Nothing crazy mind you but no need to completely deconstruct our veteran core as conducted by Hennigan, meaning Nelson and Afflalo. Baby can go, lol

Would it be wise to give Kyle Korver 8 million per year and then tell him he has the grenlight to take crazy shots? Of course not. Low usage, high efficiency guys are easy to find in this league. The problem is that most of them aspire for more and think that being on a bad team makes them "the man" again.

I wasn't aware that they are all that common. I'll look into that. I'm also not sure Korver brings the same production to the table that Afflalo does, but I understand the comparison. I get your point but I do think there is something to his value changing based on team construction.

Magic aren't signing any max free agents next summer. Lebron isn't coming, they won't pay an RFA max money, unless he's a legit max player.

Kind of depends on who we draft. offer sheeting Cousins or Wall is hopeless. Wiz ain't letting Wall walk within the division.

2015 i think may be the time, and make a run at kevin love, he would actually fit really well here, unless we draft julius randle
aol4532 on bill russell
I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.
