Lakers won.
Knicks should beat BK tomorrow. Sixers and Mavs play each other, so at least one of them will get an extra win. Hopefully the hot heat knock off the somewhat struggling Hawks... they'll go full tank when Riley trades Dragic.

Updated... if we lose tomorrow and mavs win, we have the 4th worst record, and are only 2 games ahead of the Lakers.

Not changing this sig until Magic win a championship. Started 6/26/2015.

This assuming we get lucky and end up picking in the top 3.

Fultz can play along side Elfrid as well as replace him if necessary so he's my top guy. Ball has good height but isn't strong enough to play SG and DSJ is a point thru and thru

D-Lo back. Lakers have a decent squad when everyone is healthy. They have zero depth so they can't afford injuries. Randle back next game as well. Let's go Lakers! 8-)

Thanks D'angelo and Zubac for great Lakers win. :D

Jokes aside, Lakers pretty much every year found somebody in second round. Clarkson, Zubac and Nance... In mean time Magic over 4 yers of tanking never even gave second round picks chance to show anything.

We're close to what I call no mans land in terms of the draft imo. We need to lose as many games as possible moving forward and I hope that Hennigan's comment about us still having a chance to make the PO's was "saying what he needed to say" in an interview and that he and Vogel don't actually think that.
Strategically I would send Ibaka to the lakers for a for a bag of chips if it meant one less team we'd have to compete with in the draft.

Poor ZImmerman.

Every time when team loses few game Mario gets hooked out of rotation   Than team loses more but that won't get him back.

Aaron has some of worst stats among starting SFs and still can't get to play PF at all. But there is Jeff Green, teams backup PG,SG,SF and PF.

No man's land this draft starts in that 9th and 10th pick. If we keep this losing streak up, for once since Robs tenure we are guaranteed to draft one of the established studs. No point in winning now. Trade Ibaka for as many 1st as you can get.

Can someone remind me why it's important for the Lakers to fall out of the bottom 3?

If the Lakers pick outside the top 3 this year, their pick is relayed to Philly and the Magic would get an unprotected first round pick from the Lakers in 2019.

If the Lakers pick falls inside the top 3 this year, the Magic get the Lakers' second rounders this year and next. Philly would get the Lakers first round pick next year.

If they fall out of the top 3, then we receive their unprotected 2019 1st round pick. If they are in the top 3 then we receive their 2017 and 2018 2nd round picks.

As magic fans, were banking on them crashing hard in 2019 (very possible).

"If the L.A. Lakers convey a 1st round pick to Philadelphia in 2017, then the L.A. Lakers will convey their 2019 1st round pick to Orlando; if the L.A. Lakers do not convey a 1st round pick to Philadelphia in 2017, then the L.A. Lakers will instead convey their 2017 2nd round pick and 2018 2nd round pick to Orlando [L.A. Lakers-Orlando, 8/10/2012]"

The only silver lining to the Lakers second rounder this year is that it would give the Magic the ability to add two high second round picks. These are also appealing in a trade as it's generally agreed that teams prefer a pick in the 31-35 range over the 26-30 range because you don't have the guaranteed contract of a first rounder when picking 31-35.

Of course this silver lining is extremely thin and is partly based on your organisation having success in drafting and developing second rounders and having them contribute to your team. Something the Magic have been inconsistent with at best.

Could be a big night for the tank, folks. Just gotta do what we do best, play terrible basketball.

It's a win/win with the 76ers vs Mavs.
Knicks should win.
Pelicans could win.
Miami could win.
