I haven't contributed to this thread this year, but I have been watching a lot of college basketball. A name I wanted to bring up is Devin Vassell. I've watched essentially every game he has played in this season and he's pretty much the biggest reason Florida State is sitting at #8 right now and tied for the top spot in the ACC.
He's a 6-6 3-D guard/forward who was just named as a finalist for the Julius Erving Award (nation's best SF) and he has a skill set that will immediately translate over into today's' NBA and is a player who could help this team a ton imo. He's averaging about 13 ppg and is shooting close to 43% from 3 but over the last month or so he has really come on and has been averaging closer to 18 ppg. I've seen him start to sneak into the late first early second range in multiple mocks.
Here are some highlights:
Obviously, I say all of this knowing the clownshow that is our FO and how much they hate shooting/offensive talent but I thought I'd bring his name up regardless. If FSU has a deep run in the tourney I would not be surprised in the slightest to see him get drafted in the top 25. He's got a somewhat awkward release and he's not going to be a superstar, but he is the exact kind of player I could see having a 10-12 year career as a starter.
