you simply won't get more from a rental, that's why it's pivotal to trade Gordon this year. Before trade request went to public that's what i've said to Prime Thyme, keeping Gordon pass this deadline never made any sense.

More importantly, we are securing top 5 odds and a serious shot at selecting Cade/Suggs. That's what this deal is about.

Why won't the picks be good? They might not be good. Chicago might not make the playoffs this year. Lavine has one year left.

They are probably the lowest team in the standings that would have traded for Vuc.

Chicago will probably be mid first round and I think they will improve by 2023.

Would have liked one of Langford or Nesmith, but there was just no leverage for something like that with Fournier at the end of his deal.

Im guessing this will be Vuc’s appreciation thread?.?.?

I appreciate the time he put in for the O. He came in during a time where this organization was in complete shambles after the D12 era and held it down for a team with no direction for all these years. Never was going to be a player to lead us to the promise lead but he kept us competent. Our only all star since D12 left. I knew his time ran his course last year and was ready to move on just on the fact that I wanted Vuc on a team that will build and appreciate him.

Now just need to get rid of Ross and AG and have like two max slots heading into free agency. A perfect little instant reboot with youth, picks, and a solid young core of Isaac and Fultz. This is better than my wildest dreams.
