OT was worth it. Jett breaks the 20 point barrier. 4 of 8 from 3. We got ourselves a keeper boys and girls! :D

AB was WIDE open from 3 the second to last play and Weatherspoon had no faith in passing to him. AB just needs to live in the gym and learn how to shoot.

That said, his handle isn't as tight as it needs to be either. It's okay but his height is an issue when dribbling against shorter guys that actively swipe for the ball.

Weatherspoon played a very selfish game

I like black but he has a long way to go offensively. I don't see how he is anywhere close to as good as our current guards.

AB was giving him the rock every time. He didn’t want anything to do with shooting.

I truly can see ab and Howard not getting much playing time this season. Which to me just doesn't make sense. But we'll see

Nice game for Howard,
Great to see when they spoke with his Dad watching.

Hope both him and Black play the next games as otherwise I won’t be viewing seeing basketball till the World Cup starts.

Feels odd being English and cheering on German brothers

This coach..... Man..... You can tell he learned something from mose but I wonder if it's the right thing.... You have a hot hand then go away from him? Just so he can go cold? Nobody setting picks? Why did coach over complicate things for jett trying to make him do too much with the ball when there is a Point guard on the floor.... Give the ball to the point guard and let him set the table, no wonder we had 20+ turnovers

Both these rookies have a long way to go with learning how to close out games. However, we will not be counting on them to do that this season.

Yeah, this coach has a lot of growing to do. He’ll figure it out.

Jetts game outside of his athleticism is very aesthetically pleasing. His release and pull up game looks great. We'll see how effective it is but there I can kind of see something.

I know we have some sensitive posters on here but Black did not look good tonight. Slow, way too patient no threat to make jumpers, struggled to beat guys off the dribble. Relies on his size alot.

Jett's shooting will fit in with any team though.

This trade wasn't some conspiracy - it was just a GM wanting AD bad enough where in most people's eyes he overpaid by a long shot to get him.

And still got 8-14-4.. he will improve. Shooting was always an issue. Turnovers will be up and down

I'm an AB fan and I won't sugarcoat how poorly he has played on offense. It's more than the shot. It's the dribble and lack of separation when trying to create. It's also his passive nature to give Weatherspoon the ball and fade into a corner. Not a fan of any of that...

But he's 19 and on a 'bad night', still ended up with 8/14/4/1/2.

Hell, we need his rebounding alone on our regular roster

I don't get that comp at all (not from you, I know)

Okeke never could dribble like Jett and sometimes shoots with his offhand completely off the ball

They play NOTHING alike.
