Get an elite playmaking scorer next to him in the backcourt and this team takes off to another level (or two).

Gotta love seeing Suggs on a defensive list surrounded by bigs. Much harder to find a guard his size in that echelon.

It’s embarrassing that we have seasoned fans suggesting such an atrocity.

I’m clearly a Suggs fan and see him as part of our future. However, that depends a bit on how we build the roster and does not mean I see Suggs as “untradeable” — but for a geriatric Chris Paul!!?? Come on people! Be better.

He is not consistent yet, but if Suggs is our real 3rd best player we are at least a playoff team for years to come.
I defended Suggs through the dark times becouse he has marvelous physical tools and non stop motor. I think Black could go through something similar next year and i will also support him.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

Suggs has had an objectively horrendous NBA career. So yes, if we're going to be any good, we need our actual third-best player to be, say, Franz Wagner, because we've signed or traded for a star and are rolling out Banchero, Wagner, and [Star X]. If Suggs can carve himself out a niche role as a Tony Allen 20-mins-a-night defensive presence, more power to him and I hope the Magic keep him (cheaply). He still makes way too many boneheaded plays, though, so I dunno.

The Suggs love on this board can only be attributed to the "got that dog in him" crowd. Some peeps just can't get over that.

Suggs was horrible his rookie season playing 48 injury riddled games. Since then he has been fine for a 2nd/3rd year player. Every day he's proving that his rookie season was more of a fluke. His defense is still elite but i dont know what you're watching if you're still comparing him to Tony Allen and ignoring the offensive potential he flashes. Suggs has been our 4th best scorer this season. Lots of guys in their careers have had horrible rookie seasons and went on to develop into stars.

Would love to see Orl's pace numbers when Suggs is on the floor versus off. He really helps the Magic speed up. That's important for a young team with some halfcourt struggles.

Either you’re not watching or you don’t know basketball. You never know how things will play out but today, there is no doubt that Suggs is playing quality basketball and is the 3rd best player on a top 4 Eastern Conference team. That is a fact.

Great one...yeah, a distant third and maybe..."third most impactful" vs "3rd Best"

I dunno if he is third best. Maybe a full minute Issac is or WCJ can get out of his year long slump. Suggs is, however, our most important player because he makes everyone around him better just by existing. There are many games we come out looking flat that Suggs turns around by playing harder than all 9 other players combined and that is infectious. Remember they used to call Darrell Armstrong the Energizer bunny, well Suggs is the second coming.

I'm trying to find that clip from last night when OG is trying to back him down in the paint, can't because Suggs is a lineman, and then gets outmatched as Suggs just rips the ball away from him and stares his ass down. That would be exhibit A.

No apology form needed here, thank god.

But then again I have some big thighs myself so our lord and savior Jalen Suggs has not made me insecure.
