Lol, George might still be the better player. The things George and Howard are asked to do for their respective teams are completely different. Howard is just a spot up shooter at this point. George is basically being asked to play the Paolo role for the Jazz.

Gary shot 40% with good defense the last two seasons combined, it's just that he disappears WAY too much on offense for an offensively starved team.

If Jett can play passable defense and be way more lethal from three, he definitely deserves to play more.

This one half of preseason basketball hardly counts as validation for Jett, but he absolutely took a lot of heat from the fanbase as a rookie without really deserving it. The team had a plan for him last season and they stuck to it, even at times where it felt nonsensical. He has a skill, let's see if he can take that and be a real player for us at some point.

There is no nuance when discussing rookies.. it's either a bust of a pick no matter their circumstances or we have to anoint them the second coming and savior.

I didn't get the hate considering he didn't even get to play. How can you hate a player that doesn't get to play? :lol:

Now, if he was touted as shooter and he comes in, plays ~18mpg and shoots sub 30% from deep with bad defense, then yeah, I get it. But that is not what happened.

Given he'd be coming off the bench and he has Issac covering him it might warrant him more playing time.
