and the previous season he averaged 35.2 minutes and averages not 6 but 5.9 rebounds.

You're trying to make it sound sweeter but **** is still ****.

You should not judge him off last season when he came off of major surgery for 5 games.

It was not 5.9 it was 6.0. I just looked it up.

Agree to disagree. A center averaging 6 boards a game on a near max deal? It's one thing if he's a guard averaging 20 a night. But dude can't even rebound.

When I hear people talk about OKC and do it that way, I laugh. They got lucky that Portland once again took the wrong guy.

I'm on the brink with you there.

But I know it's just irrational anger right now. I hope Hennigan can show me a light at the end of this tunnel.

If this trade happens then I really think Rob has a bracelet that says "What would Otis do?" on it.

any 7 footer who averages 20 a game will get the max in the current NBA..unfortunate truth

getting nothing is better than taking back Lopez. choosing where we want to spend $18M in next year's FA is better than spending $10-15 of it on Lopez.

Magic need to just nut up and keep Dwight.

once we become a lottery team with Lopez, all our overpriced "win now" veterans will be even more useless. they'll make us the new Milwaukee Bucks. we won't even get a good pick from it, and we'll eventually look to trade them anyway.

so, just keep Dwight, move the trash, and start making plans on what we'll spend all our capspace on next season.

Who the hell would trade for BROOK LOPEZ on a MAX contract??

Joe johnson, Okafor and Nene all say hi. I am saying there is always a team looking for a center.

I didnt say I love the idea of getting Lopez, but he is a legit 7 footer with skill and is only 24 years old.

Maybe Lopez is the player Henny was referring to the other day that had not yet reached his true potential. Maybe Henny sees him as a worthy project?

Or, maybe I'm just trying to justify so as not to lick the wall outlet.

You're right about that. I just don't want us being the team dishing it.

Even if Dwight changed his mind and wanted to sign, we are not title contenders. It is not a fluke that we had 2 first round exits in a row. This team was moving backwards and even quick fixes would likely leave us in the middle of the pack. Miami, Boston, Chicago, LA, SA and OKC have settled as the top tier of teams. Even if we cleared the deck and got Ellis or Smith, im not sure we would beat these teams in a 7 game series.

this sounds like a whopper of a deal. 11 players in total. Complicated to say the least. #magic #nets

F!!!! Bynum and the Lakers. That wouldn't be the best trade in my opinion. Yes Brook isn't the greatest center but as long as he comes with draft picks and a salary dump, I'm in. Time to rebuild...follow the OKC model and the dynasty will come.

Uhh... OKC didn't build their dynasty (that hasn't won a title yet) with a soft center and a bunch of draft picks in the mid to late twenties, so...

What exactly are you referring to?

Referring to build through the draft. OKC is the ideal model. They will be a great team for the next 10+ years and will get a title(s).

Can't lie, I'm right there, too.

I sick of these stupid moves.

This deal had better have more than meets the eye, or a plan down the road.......or something.

Because I honestly feel like I'd rather just take the risk on Bynum, and if he shows inclination on leaving, trade him at the deadline, or even let him expire.
