Would have taken this.

I definitely wouldn't.

Let's look on the bright side guys, with all these young studs on our team, one of them is bound to turn into a superstar, right?

When have we ever had trouble luring free agents when we have cap space? And hopefully with the rebuild Hennigan can sell prospective free agents the idea os playing with an up and coming group, and maybe by then we'll have drafted our next franchise player(s). A lot of guys wanted the OKC model. Well here you have it.

We will now. We now have a history of pissing off stars. Again:

Shaq
Penny
TMac
G Hill
Dwight

That is EVERY star we've ever had and we pissed all of them off.

How pissed off can Dwight be? We sent him to play with Kobe, Nash, and Gasol.

You're just making doomsday predictions without having anything to back it up.

If ANY other team had Dwight Howard, they would of gotten 2x better return than we did. But we're the Magic. We're built to suffer, get shafted, and suck.

This sucks doubly for me.
I'm a die-hard Magic fan.
Who lives in Los Angeles.

Now I get to be surrounded by Dwight hoopla even more on a daily basis.
Local news is literally showing people celebrating outside the Staples center.

Otis was ready to take Lopez and a lottery pick (Lillard). That was far better.

It's clear we are going to rebuild. C'mon guys, just take it like men (and women). Gotta sell this as best they can in the PC, but it's tank and rebuild.

Pissed off enough to not want to be with our team like every other star we've had. I don't give a @&$! where he goes.

Why? What do we get in that trade that we don't get in this trade? I hope you have something better to say than Brook Lopez.

we would flip brook and humphries :D

unprotected #1's and a solid expiring. Lopez I am not crazy about, but I'm sure eventually we could flip him, especially if he was our starting center and likely first choice option which would have elevated his stats.

Yeh but with Lopez's large deal....the expiring wouldn't really give us any more cap room than this will. I think this deal gives us a little more. Were all the unprotected 1st from Brooklyn themselves? If so, the majority of them would probably be crap since Brooklyn would be great for 5 + years.

Still hoping Henny calls Houston in the morning and threatens to get this done...

The Magic will receive a second round pick from the Nuggets in the Dwight Howard trade that is a 2013 Warriors pick, source tells Y! Sports.

so we get a DEN first and Warriors 2nd? That 2nd should be in the 30s

There was no lottery pick. There was never going to be a lottery pick.

I remember someone on here saying that Kyle will have a better carrer + much more playing time than Andrew N. Who was that?

You sure hit the jackpot on that 1.

Anyone see Harkless in summer league? I was pretty high on him pre-draft, but when we didn't take him, I lost interest.

Played very little and was unimpressive.

Thanks for reminding me that we still have those two to root for...I'll enjoy watching a frontcourt of Harkless, Nicholson, and O'Quinn this year.

And you think that pick would still be as high if they teamed up Dwight with DWill?
