I wish JJ wouldve ended up on the magic again, but a contenders good for him. Would've hoped it been a contender I liked, but still

I kinda like this signing for them. They didn't really overpay, didn't lose any assets in a trade. Martin has had a nice career...not the highest FG%, but gets to the line a lot. The fourth year might not turn out too well, but i've seen a lot worse signings.

Though I will qualify my statement by saying that they didn't overpay compared to other contracts signed this offseason....I think during the next year teams will probably realize that they all overspent by a little this offseason as they try to manage their budgets going forward under new CBA.

Yup. Saw Splitter got $9 mil per after his awful Finals performance. Guess that means Vuc the Heat Killer will be in line for what...$20 mil per or so?

If we judged players solely on how they played against the heat in the Finals, James Harden would be a mle guy.

I love the Clippers (mainly because of CP3). I think JJ will be great for them. They have a good team up there and I'm happy that JJ is getting this chance.

IMO, they're very serious contenders right now. I have only the Thunder ahead of them.

How about Baby and Afflalo for Ben Gordon and Portlands 2014 first round pick (owned by Charlotte)?

If Charlotte Lands Al Jeff, that would give them...

PG Walker
SG Afflalo
SF MKG
PF Baby
C Al Jeff

Not a bad starting 5...we get a pick out of the deal...and an expiring...thoughts?

Ok, sort of big stuff happening tonight.

Tony allen signs a 4 year deal to return to Memphis.

The pistons offer expiring deals of Rodney Stuckey and Charlie Villanueva to Toronto for Rudy Gay.

Kings in lead to sign Igoudala to a 4 year 56 million dollar deal.

Spurs?

The Spurs are great but I think the Thunder and Clippers are the two best teams in the West. I feel like the Spurs had a very favorable playoff schedule. They had to play the Warriors and the Grizzlies in the 2nd round and WCF. I personally don't think they would've gotten past the Clippers or Thunder even with the injuries.

Wow that is some serious hating. They swept the team that beat the Clippers in the first round, and some how that was a favorable schedule.

Hating? I absolutely love and respect the hell out of the Spurs. But I just think they were very fortunate to have to face the teams that they did. Specifically the Lakers and Grizzlies (who I consider the most overrated team in all of the NBA.. Now thats a team I hate lol). I actually called both of their sweeps btw. I think they're very talented. I just think that the Clippers and Thunder are a little more talented. The things the Spurs have are great ball movement, unselfishness and the greatest coach of all time (IMO).

That POR 2014 pick is WILDLY protected. That deal is awful.

The suitors for AA are evaporating quickly. Maybe OKC gets desperate after FA ends because K.Mart walked out on them and offer us pick + Lamb for AA or something. I still haven't seen anyone on these boards outline a trade for BBD, and honestly, I don't think there is a market for him.

I didn't really have feelings for Bledsoe one way or the other, but man, sitting on these "asset" veterans and letting them get older and look bad on our rebuilding team is just tanking what value they have left.

There is no rush to trade AA, contracts that have been signed by SGs this summer indicate that we have him on a decent deal with good trade value, just let the opportunity present itself.
Oladipo can surely use some head to head trainings with NBA quality SG.

What pick? Cause a pick from OKC isn't worth anything
