I seriously wish I knew his sources. It's probably one of us and we don't even know it.

I"ve been wonder this for a while, now.....

Any of us could easily do what he does, which is basically throw sh*t at the wall.

Hell, I'd be willing to bet that we would actually be more accurate.

Honestly, i wouldn't complain if we ended up with Iggy, Lopez, and Brooks, but i just don't know how it could be done.

Most 3-ways I can see between Philly/NJ/Orl have to involve 13-16 players to pull off salaries. No real incentive for anyone to do the deal.

13-16?? Not at all. I mean, the NJ/ORL part of the trade is probably going to involve like 6-7 players anyways, so that's part of it, they're both re-building so it doesn't really matter if they completely change their teams...that isn't going to deter either side. I did something that ended up being like 10 players, which is realistic for a 3 team trade. I see it being more something like NJ sends a pick to PHI, along with maybe Okur (Philly wants a big, an he is expiring) and Brooks (they can replace Iggy with a young up-and-coming scorer on a tiny contract).

PHL gets Jameer, Okur, Brooks, NJ 1st rd

ORL gets Lopez, Humphries, Iggy, Nocioni, Farmar + some NJ pick(s)

NJ gets Dwight, Hedo, Duhon

Something I just found out running some trades though, is that Humphries has to approve any trade he is part of. Not sure he would want to get traded, but it's possible....might throw a wrench into things though.

^^^ eff that trade. why don't we get portland involved for batum? they already agreed to send crash to us before the season started. i'd be happy with getting lopez batum marshon and nj 1st while sending out dwight turk and duhon. give portland houston's 1st and humphries or okur

This is the only trade I could find that at least had some aspects good for each team. I think Philly gets thrown the a great draft pick to make this better for them. I'm not even sure if it works financially, I think it's really close. Too many guys not able to load in trade checker.

ORLANDO:

In
Iggy, Farmar, Lopez, Brooks, Brand--->38.7 million

Out

Howard, Nelson, J-Rich, Davis, Duhon--->41.6 mil

NEW JERSEY:

In
Dwight, Duhon, Davis---27.6

Out
Farmar, Lopez, Brooks, Humphries, Pretro, Okur--->30.4

PHILLY:

In
J-Rich, Humphries, Petro, Nelson---29.8

Out
Brand, Iggy----30.6

WHY ON EARTH WOULD PHILLY GET INVOLVED IN A DWIGHT TRADE?!?!?!

They are playing fantastic basketball, have zero need for Nelson (Holliday/Williams superior), J Rich or Reddick (Iguodala/Turner superior), BBD (Brand/Thad Young superior), or anyone on NJs roster not named Deron WIlliams.

I know its Ping and I do not believe anything, but the Ish Smith signing does seem like a precursor to something else. I just do not believe Philly wants any part of it unless they are getting lottery picks. And if thats the case, WHY THE F*** WOULD ORLANDO NOT WANT EVERY PICK POSSIBLE?!?!?!?!

OK I am done venting

I don't think it is.

Larry Hughes was bad, so he was cut, and we needed a new 3rd string PG due to Nelson's injury prone-ness.

I don't think Philly would get involved in the manner they would need to in order to be a 3rd team in this supposed trade. Although, if they got a ton of 1st round picks like Portland was alleged to be in that Wallace deal, I think they'd bite on getting rid of Brand and replacing him with a better PF in Humphries, picking up vets in J-Rich and Nelson. Why they would part with Iggy, I have no idea, but it's come up before, so there must be some sort of reason to do it.

Philly wouldn't get involved because it sucks for them.

Those asking about how wed get Iggy, my guess is it would probably be the same frame of trade as the reported earlier deal this season where we almost got G wallace and portland would have gotten 4 picks from nj. but this time wed get iggy and philly would prob get alot of picks to go with there youth group. which if this is the case id pass unless we keep jj and anderson and get money to make a big splash in FA in the next year or two.
PG:?
SG: jj, brooks
SF: iggy
PF: anderson
C: Brooks
it isnt a bad lineup and would be alot like denver or portland. though id like to move brooks for a better defensive center like a gortat or bogut but hey beggers cant be choosers. If you get a good pg in FA thats a really good team
