At the deadline, before they gave up and traded for Crash, yeah.

Will we make more deals after this one? way too many forwards.....If this proposed deal goes down i just hope the reporters in the press conference ask if this was the best deal? cause this deal doesn't even seem like we're settling....feels like it's one of those...."here's the deal take it or leave it" kind of situation.....I want to hear an explanation but i doubt i'll hear one from Rob, Alex and company....just some ole sugar coated goodness....ra ra....let's start over the right way....yada yada....we are the laughing stock of the league right now..... embarrassed to go to the general board......sticking here to lick my wounds lol

You're too smart to say that. Take that back.

Any thoughts on how many spots we'll fill this year? It's looking like we are at 13 signed after this deal as constructed...think we'll sign 15?

The only players I like in my team are: Kyle, Drew, Moe, JJ, and Nelson.

Lineup?

C: Kyle
PF: Drew
SF: Moe
SG: JJ
PG: Nelson

15 - 25 wins team 4sure!

This deal is indefensible. You can't come out of a Dwight Howard deal without obtaining someone else's lottery pick or an up and coming future star.

We all know that Houston offered us something.

The worst part is, we don't even get the cap flexibility we were looking for. I keep seeing people in this thread defend the deal...by claiming we get cap flexibility.

We gain very little cap flexibility out of this in comparison to holding on to Dwight and letting him walk. We basically swapped J-Rich's deal for Affalo's, and got out from under Duhon's deal.

We gained the cap flexibility of not having to pay Chris Duhon. That's it. Whoopie.

And so what if we only have to pay Harrington 50 percent of the salary if we waive him after this year? That's a loss, because we wouldn't have had to pay Dwight Howard ANYTHING after this season.

This deal doesn't make any sense.

My predicted stats for our boys next summer if this trade goes down:

Jameer: 15ppg, 6.5 apg, 3rpb
Afflalo: 16ppg, 3 rpg
JJ: 12ppg
Turk: 10ppg, 5 rpg, 4.5 apg
Harkless: 7ppg, 5 rpg, 2apg
BBD: 15ppg, 10 rpg
Vucevic: 9ppg, 9 rpg
Harrington: 12 ppg, 5 rpg

Played very little and was unimpressive.
got hurt as well. we all knew he was gonna be more of a long term project than plug and play

And who said Andrew Nicholson might be included in the deal? Is that an official report, or garbage being grumbled on Twitter?

cap flexibility doesn't mean sh*t for the next couple years. We are tanking, full out tanking. Only thing that matters is that we got assets instead of letting him walk for nothing. I'm not saying its a great deal but we got assets.
